Middlebrooks is a 24-year-old reality TV personality from Chesapeake, Virginia, who got his start on season 2 of CBS’s “Love Island USA.” He and fellow contestant Cely Vasquez became fan favorites, ultimately finishing as the season’s runners-up. His charm and athleticism quickly made him a standout among viewers.

Following “Love Island,” Middlebrooks continued his reality TV run on “All Star Shore,” a competition series on Paramount+ featuring stars from across the reality TV universe.

Before breaking out on TV, Johnny was a college athlete with a passion for fitness, photography, and cutting hair. With a background in modeling and sports, Middlebrooks brought both style and stamina to his screen appearances. Now, he’s ready to use that same competitive edge in the chaotic world of “House of Villains.”

‘House of Villains’ Season 3 Star Johnny Middlebrooks Made His ‘Challenge’ Debut on ‘Ride or Dies’

In 2022, Middlebrooks made his debut on MTV’s “The Challenge: Ride or Dies,” joining the cast as a rookie. Paired with actress and social media star Ravyn Rochelle, the duo faced a high-stakes environment where rookie teams often struggled to survive against veteran alliances. Still, his athleticism and social game gave him a fighting chance.

Middlebrooks entered the game with strong connections to former “Love Island” castmates who had also competed on “The Challenge,” including Olivia Kaiser and Jeremiah White.

Even though he didn’t walk away with the top prize, Middlebrooks left an impression as a rising competitor. His background in sports, combined with a willingness to take risks, made him a player to watch. Now, he’ll channel that same intensity and strategy into a very different kind of competition on “House of Villains.” This time, the focus is less on physical challenges and more on psychological warfare.

“House of Villains” will premiere on Peacock in 2026.
