<p id=”par-3_48″>While the couple first met in August, their official, committed relationship began when Turner picked Nist as filming wrapped on the season. Filming for <em>The Golden Bachelor</em> took about four weeks, so technically, they were together for just a few months when they went public with their relationship.</p>

<p id=”par-4_68″>Nist and Turner took their relationship to the next level in January 2024 when they wed in a televised ceremony. The star-studded event aired on Jan. 4. They followed the televised wedding with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-golden-bachelor-wedding-everything-that-was-on-the-menu.html/”>a private reception for friends and family</a>. After their wedding, Nist and Turner appeared on television shows and podcasts together. They also shared snapshots from their time together on Instagram. All seemed well until April.</p>

<p id=”par-5_60″>On Apr. 12, Nist and Turner announced <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-golden-bachelor-what-led-to-theresa-nist-and-gerry-turners-divorce.html/”>the end of their marriage.</a> Turner filed the divorce paperwork the same day. Nist and Turner said they decided to separate as neither was interested in leaving their families to live together in a new location. They maintained separate residences for the duration of their union. Their divorce was finalized on June 13.</p>
<p id=”par-6_35″>Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s love story turned out to be a short story. From meeting to divorce, the couple only knew each other for 10 months. Both appear happy to have parted ways, though.</p>

They have offered the future lead their best wishes as she embarks on her journey.
