I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have slammed Dean McCullough as a ‘hypocrite’ following his bust-up with Corrie’s Alan Halsall last week.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ, 32, and soap actor, 42, came to blows when Dean was awoken from a nap to collect firewood, which was his assigned chore along with Jane Moore.
It’s safe to say the moment made for uncomfortable viewing, as audiences at home criticised Dean for how he reacted to Alan’s gentle approach, even demanding he be removed from the camp.
Fast forward a few days, however, and it seems Dean doesn’t have a problem with being the one to wake up another celebrity.
As Monday night’s episode kicked off, Tulisa Contostavlos was seen snoozing soundly in her bed, having been kicked out of the luxury bed in the leaders’ lodge after her reign came to an end.
The N-Dubz singer, 36, had already made it clear that she didn’t want to be rudely awoken in the early hours with ‘musical theatre’ performances, given that the camp is prone to a bit of singing to keep spirits up.

But it seems Dean took this as a challenge rather than a warning.
‘Tulisa is still in her dreams there. She doesn’t like to get up until it suits her,’ said boxing champ Barry McGuigan as he watched Tulisa sleep.
‘We’re not gonna disturb her,’ Oti Mabuse vowed, while Dean had other ideas.
‘Now that she’s out of the leaders’ lodge, Tulisa has warned me that there must be no musical theatre early in the morning,’ Dean told cameras in the Bush Telegraph.
‘So, I made it my mission to make sure that the camp woke up this morning with the sound of lovely singing, even if Tulisa didn’t want it!’
The TV star was then seen dancing around Tulisa’s bed and belting out Good Morning from Singin’ in the Rain.
Former X Factor judge Tulisa was clearly unimpressed, as she pretended to say a prayer for the noise to cease.

Fortunately for Dean, though, once she was out of bed and more alert, she seemed to take it in her stride.
‘I knew it was coming, and I shouldn’t have moaned so much because now they know and I’m expecting more in the days to come. It’s alright, I’ve got this,’ she told the Bush Telegraph.
But while Tulisa was eventually able to laugh about the whole thing, viewers couldn’t help but point out the irony of Dean being the one to wake her up in such a disruptive manner after his own episode the other night.
‘What a Hypocrite Dean is, crying to Alan to give him a minute yet deliberately screeching in tulisa’s face first thing’, wrote DanielH39818344 on X.
Barbsxoxox agreed, writing: ‘Dean is such a hypocrite getting angry at Alan for waking him up then singing in Tulisa’s face to wake her up, the sooner he’s out the better’.
Others branded the presenter ‘attention-seeking’, while user holtzybxby asked: ‘Does he not understand the concept of respect and boundaries or something??’
It comes after even presenter Ant McPartlin expressed his annoyance regarding Dean, as he has been voted to do almost every single Bushtucker Trial by the public.

Ant was called ‘unprofessional’ after urging Dean to ‘try harder’ during the challenges as he screamed through each one, but later insisted it’s not ‘personal’.
He begged: ‘It’s good to see other faces down there. This is not a personal thing. It’s not about Dean. It’s about us and just seeing different people from the show being featured.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
