- Former I’m A Celebrity winner Giovanna Fletcher advises female contestants to shower naked for better privacy on camera
- She claims cameras turn away from naked showers, suggesting it avoids the show’s focus on sensationalised bikini shots
- Kelly Brook says she prepared by packing suitable swimsuits after advice from previous contestant Myleene Klass
A former winner of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here has urged Kelly Brook and the rest of the show’s current female cohort to ‘shower naked’ while in the jungle.
Author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher was crowned Queen of the Castle in 2020 – she won one of two I’m A Celebrity editions that took place in Wales.
Her victorious time on the show was affected by Covid-19 lockdown regulations, which prevented ITV from going to its usual location in Australia.
Despite having to survive castle conditions instead of jungle ones, Giovanna still has sage advice for the current I’m A Celebrity crop: shower naked.

It’s been known for many years that TV cameras lurk in the trees around the jungle showers, with images reaching the newspapers virtually the next day.
But Giovanna reckons her bold advice will finally get the women of the show some privacy while forcing those TV cameras to look the other way.
‘Because our year was in Wales it was very, very different. They would turn the cameras away sometimes. A lot of women knew quite early on that if they showered nude they would pan away.’
Speaking to The Sun, she continued: ‘They won’t show it. So the biggest tip is shower naked, they can’t use it anyway. I feel a bit of shame in that. It’s 2025 – why are we doing bikini shots and making it about that?
‘That’s not what I’m A Celebrity is about. I just think it’s a shame that that’s where we are. A woman should be able to go in there and not think, “Oh my gosh, what am I going to look like in the shower?”
She then doubted whether the male contestants feel the same way when washing during filming for the series, before reiterating that getting naked while showering in the jungle was her ‘top tip’.
Before heading into the jungle, Kelly revealed to The Sun that she had received advice from former I’m A Celebrity contestant Myleene Klass about what to do during her daily clean-ups.
‘Myleene did talk to me about the shower. She said when she arrived, she didn’t actually have a swimsuit that was appropriate for TV. I think it was strobing or something,’ she said.
‘So, she actually had to run out and get something when she was [in Australia]. I made sure that I packed plenty of swimsuits so we had loads of options.’
