Alan Carr may be skulking around the Celebrity Traitors castle turret on our TV screens, but when he’s not murdering Paloma Faith and other celebrities on the BBC show, he can be found in his London pad.

The comedian, 49, has been branded the highlight of Celebrity Traitors by fans of the BBC competition, as he dons a cloack each evening with fellow traitors Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross, the latter of which was sensationally banished on last night’s episode.

Now, the only faithfuls left in the competition are actress Celia Imrie, who had her Bafta moment when she farted on camera earlier in the series; Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway; Ted Lasso star and tactical player Nick Mohammed; rugby star Joe Marler (who is the most switched on out of the lot); and historian David Olusoga.

Tonight, Alan is tasked with murdering another faithful in plain sight by uttering the line, ‘Parting is such a sweet sorrow,’ followed by the name of the doomed faithful. Subtle.

While time could be ticking for Alan in the castle, with question marks over his head by the ever-watchful Celia, at least he’s got a nice pad to chill out in when he gets home from Scotland between filming his various shows…

Over the past few weeks, Alan and fellow traitor Cat have shared videos of them in cloaks mucking around from the Chatty Man host’s London home, with its modest garden, slick sitting room, impressive high ceilings and cocktail bar.

Alan settled in the pad after announcing his split from ex-husband Paul Drayton in 2022, but he previously revealed in an interview one bit of odd memorabilia from their relationship remains.

I’ve got a cow’s head in the kitchen,’ he said in an interview with House Beautiful, explaining: ‘My ex gave it to me. I should have known divorce was on the cards.’

He’s also got a custom-made wallpaper by former Interior Design Masters contestant Amy Davies, which is inspired by Miss Marple, as he reaps the benefits of presenting the show.

Alan’s house has also played host to his podcast, Life’s A Beach, in the past, for which he’s recently interviewed celebrities including Fatboy Slim, Perrie Edwards and Stacey Solomon.

In one snap posted from his kitchen alongside comedian Joanne McNally, Alan’s cocktail bar-style wall is on full display, in which he has stacks of tasty looking bottles and recipe books, including POPLO by Russell Norman.

Talking about his home in the House Beautiful interview, Alan said:  ‘I painted my bathroom pink, and I mean 70s hot pink. I’m quite proud of it.

‘I think a bathroom is a place for fun. If you’re going to take a risk, do it in the bathroom.’

Alan, who has two doggies to keep him company and by the looks of things a conveyor belt of mates, also gathers home trinkets from his adventures with on and off-screen bestie Amanda Holden, as they travel while filming Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job.
