In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Lohan opened up about her hopes of growing her family. The actress, who welcomed Luai in July 2023, said she’s strongly considering having more children. “I’m like, ‘He needs a friend,’” Lohan said, referencing her own upbringing with siblings.

She also shared a more personal reason for wanting more kids, adding, “Also, I don’t know if it’s selfish—but I’m like, ‘I need more than one kid to take care of me when I’m older.’” Her comments shed light on how motherhood has shaped her perspective and future plans. The “Mean Girls” star emphasized the emotional and long-term support siblings provide, both for children and parents.

Why Dubai Became Home for Lindsay Lohan and Her Family

Lohan has been living in Dubai since 2014, a move she made to escape the constant spotlight in Los Angeles. Speaking with People, she said even simple outings like taking her son to a park in L.A. came with anxiety over paparazzi. “Are there cameras?” she would wonder. By comparison, she said Dubai offers privacy, calm, and security—qualities she feels are essential for raising a child.

Now 38, Lohan describes her day-to-day life as grounded and centered on family. Her daily routine includes journaling, drinking green tea, doing Pilates, and having breakfast with Luai. The change in environment has also influenced her professional life. According to a recent New York Post interview, she now feels comfortable turning down roles that don’t align with her values. Projects like “Freakier Friday” and her Netflix rom-coms have come as part of a balanced, selective return to acting.
