If you weren’t sure on the date, Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have put up their lavish Christmas decorations in their Essex mansion, so December is officially around the corner.
Halloween cobwebs are barely packed away, and the famous couple is following London’s festive lead, wrapping the pillars of their grand porch in tinseled greenery and baubles.
Coronation Street star Michelle, 38, and TOWIE’s Mark, also 38, wrapped up their picture-perfect gaff entrance with large, deep red velvet bows, completing what is a more subdued display than the three Christmas trees that sat on top of their portico in 2024
Sticking to the red, golden lights and green foliage colour scheme, the pair erected a large Christmas tree in their porch, adorned with large baubles and luscious velvet bows.
It is a special Christmas for Mark and Michelle, as it will be their first one spent with their daughter Palma, who was born in March.
They captioned the post: ‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year, an extra special one for us this time.
‘Thank you @4.seasonevents for bringing the magic to our home again.’
Friends and fans took to the comments section to compliment the pair on their decor, as Lizzie Cundy said: ‘Wow. Absolutely stunning. I’m coming over with some mince pies.’
Throughout the year, the new parents have been marking milestones with the tot, taking little Palma on her first holiday in April at Soho Farmhouse, a member’s club and hotel in Chipping Norton.
In June, they jetted off to Marbella for Michelle’s birthday under the sun, as pics revealed the Fool Me Once star cradling her newborn in her arms as she took a walk in a white floral applique co-ord.
Mark and Michelle have been together since December 2012. The pair got engaged in September 2013, just nine months after they began dating. On May 24, 2015, they married at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmunds before celebrating at a reception on the grounds of the Tudor mansion Hengrave Hall in Suffolk.
At the time, he told The Mirror: ‘I’ve got now, for the first time in my life, what I’ve always wanted and what every boy dreams of – affection in a relationship, love, best friend, a girl I fancy… everything rolled into one.’
The couple reportedly met backstage at The X Factor and subsequently bumped into each other at numerous other events.
‘I chased her for a while,’ Mark revealed on the Private Parts podcast hosted by Jamie Laing. ‘Basically, she gave me the elbow for about a year and then finally I got my way, after a lot of work.’
On March 6, the Brassic actress and the radio host announced the arrival of Palma Elizabeth Wright with a black and white photo, and Mark later revealed it’s the ‘biggest achievement’ of his life.
Becoming emotional as he spoke on his Heart FM radio show alongside co-host Olly Murs, Mark said: ‘It’s the biggest achievement of my life, it’s all I think about, but obviously hats go off to my wife, she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.’
Mark added: ‘It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through.
‘It’s the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face.’
Speaking about the first time he held his daughter, the former reality star said: ‘That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it.’
The pair waited to have children so they could focus on chasing their ‘dreams’ and careers.
