Meghan Markle shone brightly during a dinner series event in Los Angeles in October 2025.

“A Seat at the Table” is an exclusive dinner series founded by entrepreneur Emma Grede, co-founder of Good American and founding partner of SKIMS. The series aims to create a space where women in business can come together to share resources, foster collaboration, and support one another in a traditionally male-dominated environment. Each event is thoughtfully curated to include a diverse group of female founders and entrepreneurs.

On Oct. 16, 2025, Grede posted photos and videos to <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DP4qKaokpJf/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram from her most recent event. The first clip in the series showed the women toasting each other while smiling at the dinner table. And, of course, Meghan was in the group.

“This dinner series is about making that energy ours,” Grede captioned the post. “About women coming together to share openly, trade resources, and help each other get shit done. Because when women choose to collaborate, to champion each other, and to speak honestly about the highs and the hard parts, we don’t just change our own stories. We change what’s possible for every woman who follows.”

Plant-based chef Camilla Marcus prepared the meal for the evening. Stephanie Horton planned the event, and Shop by Google sponsored it.

“A Seat at the Table” celebrated female leaders, and Meghan Markle is certainly one of them. While speaking to Emma Grede on her podcast, Aspire, she discussed the lessons she’s learned from female founders.

“No matter their background, they all were incredibly focused,” Meghan said. “They all have regrets — most of them regretting not spending more time with their family, or taking things personally. A lot of them talk about that.”

Meghan then admitted that she often takes feedback personally, as she’s only human.

“Taking things personally is a human reaction,” she said.

The Duchess of Sussex went on to explain that she’s making “peace” with not everyone liking her. “The goal cannot be that everyone likes you,” she noted. “The goal can be that everyone respects you.”<a href=”https://people.com/meghan-markle-attends-star-studded-l-a-dinner-and-she-brought-the-wine-11831625?utm_source=chatgpt.com” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>
