Nicole Kidman and Keith Urbanâs love story may have ended after nearly two decades, but the coupleâs massive real estate empire will be far harder to split. The actress, 58, filed for divorce from the country music star, 57, on Tuesday, September 30, after 19 years of marriage.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2006 in a Sydney chapel, share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman is also a mother to Isabella and Connor, whom she adopted during her marriage to Tom Cruise. As the divorce proceeds, multiple reports indicate that the children are primarily living with Kidman, who is âholding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.â
Sources claim the split came as a surprise to Kidman, who had hoped to save the marriage. Urban has reportedly moved into a separate residence in Nashville, leaving behind not just his family but also a $250 million property portfolio the couple built together.
Nicole and Keithâs Homes in the United States
The coupleâs primary residence is a sprawling 20-room mansion just outside Nashville, purchased in 2008 for $4.89 million, according to the US Sun. The home features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a full gym, a tennis court, and a pool. According to property records, the upgrades were completed after Kidman and Urban moved in with their young daughters.
That same year, they added a $6.77 million Beverly Hills home to their collection. The 1960s-built estate sits on 1.25 acres and features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a flat-top roof, and a second-floor wraparound deck. With neighbors like Adele and Jennifer Lawrence, the property is in one of Los Angelesâ most exclusive enclaves.
In New York, the couple invested in a $13.53 million duplex in Chelsea. The stainless-steel tower unit includes three bedrooms, soaring ceilings, two terraces with Hudson River views, and even a private âsky garageâ with an elevator that delivers vehicles directly to the apartment level.
The real estate spree continued with a $3.5 million Tribeca apartment purchased in 2020. The residence offers multiple private entrances, a 75-foot indoor lap pool, rooftop gardens, a state-of-the-art gym, and a wine cellar with its own private dining room.
Nicole and Keithâs Properties Abroad
The pairâs love for Australia remained strong even after settling in the U.S. In 2008, they purchased Bunya Hill, a 45-hectare black Angus cattle farm in Sutton Forest for $6.5 million. The Georgian-style house, built in 1878, boasts sandstone verandas, a cedar staircase, 10 marble fireplaces, a guest cottage, and more modern amenities like a tennis court and pool.
Their most notable international investments, however, are in Sydneyâs Milsons Point. The couple reportedly own multiple properties in the Latitude Building, beginning with a nearly $6 million penthouse in 2009, followed by another for $7 million in 2012. Over time, they acquired four more apartments in the same building, as well as an additional $7.7 million residence just last year. Several of the apartments were combined to create a lavish penthouse suite with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour.
