It’s been a pretty confusing week for fans of Robert Pattinson and Zendaya. A simple promotional shot for the pair’s new movie The Drama, themed like a wedding invite – and featuring the Euphoria actress showing off an engagement ring while sitting on her co-star’s lap – left many wondering what was going on. Although the clue was in the image, revealing that The Drama, released on April 3, is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, many did not look closely enough. ‘Why I thought this was you and Tom’s wedding invitation for a second,’ one wrote on Instagram. ‘I didn’t see that this was a movie and I got so confused I was like “that’s not Tom Holland”, but it’s ok,’ another added. The film stars Zendaya and Pattinson as a soon-to-be-wed couple whose relationship comes under threat when one discovers what the synopsis calls ‘unsettling truths’ about the other. We can’t wait.
