<p id=”par-2_55″>As legal troubles continue to mount for Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye “Ye” West has entered the conversation with bold takes. Weighing in amid the trial and damning allegations against the Bad Boy mogul, West defended Combs’ legacy, suggesting that the media is “tearing down Black icons” and warning fans not to rush to judgment. </p>
<p id=”par-3_66″>“I related to Puff,” <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-ye-west-weighs-sean-diddy-combs-being-the-devil.html/”>West told DJ Akademiks</a> in an interview. “When they pulled out a video with him and Cassie from 10 years ago, and then it made everybody be like, ‘Oh, well, Puff’s a woman beater, so he’s the devil.’ He needs to be in jail, right? Meanwhile, I don’t know somebody who hasn’t got into an altercation with their girl at one point.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_59″>On June 13, 2025, West was spotted pulling up to Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering trial. According to <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2025/06/13/celebrity-news/kanye-west-shows-up-in-court-at-sean-diddy-combs-trial/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a>, he arrived with Combs’ son, Christian “King,” in an all-white denim outfit. He shook the hands of fans before attempting to head into the courtroom. A reporter asked West if he arrived to support Combs, and he replied, “Yes.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_89″>So, will those in the courtroom see Kanye “Ye” West testify on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ behalf? Reporters asked West if he was planning on testifying, and he did not respond. At this time, it doesn’t look like there are any plans for West to get on the stand to support Combs. Even upon his arrival, he wasn’t allowed into the main courtroom, as he wasn’t added to a list that included Combs’ pre-approved list of friends and family. West watched the trial from a TV on the 23rd floor.</p>
<p id=”par-6_19″>After 45 minutes, West left the building with Christian. He got into the backseat of a black vehicle. </p>
<p id=”par-7_54″>According to <a href=”https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/12/entertainment/kanye-west-sean-diddy-combs” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>CNN</a>, a source said that West asked Christian if he could attend the trial to show his support for Combs. The source noted that West was given the OK to attend when the defense begins to call on their witnesses in court. The prosecution is expected to finish by mid-June 2025. </p>

According to legal analyst Lou Shapiro, that’s not necessarily a good look for Combs. Shapiro told <a href=”https://www.themirror.com/entertainment/celebrity-news/p-diddy-pretty-much-own-1046876″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mirror US</a> that Combs doesn’t appear to have many friends in Hollywood at this point. And West is certainly the mogul’s most outspoken supporter. </p>
<p id=”par-9_51″>“But it does show you moreover how Hollywood is really not behind Diddy, because if Kanye is the one that he’s sort of resorting to speak with, it shows you much that he’s pretty much on his own at this point, and all he’s got is Kanye in his corner,” Shapiro explained. </p>
<p id=”par-10_38″>Aside from West, Combs also found a supporter in William Ray Norwood Jr., better known as Ray J. Ray J spoke on <em>Piers Morgan Uncensored</em> about the trial and said he expects to see Combs walk free. </p>
