Glastonbury 2024 is currently underway, with the likes of Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SZA headlining an epic line-up of pop, rock, R&B… and every other musical genre under the summer sun.

Amid its 200,000 attendees, the festival is known for attracting the attention of the rich and famous, descending upon the village of Pilton, Somerset, for five days of reveling in the sun.

Previous years have been notable for sightings of Glasto-regulars Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Cara Delevingne. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie, Emma Watson and Gwyneth Paltrow have all showed up in recent years.

And this year’s festival is no different – as the event got underway, sightings have emerged of the rich and famous stopping by to get their groove on.

Leading a chorus of the A-list, Tom Cruise himself was spotted on a raised balcony with Simon Pegg and Gillian Anderson, waiting for the arrival of Coldplay on Saturday evening.

Celebrities – they’re just like us! Presumably not slumming it in a musty old tent, though.

Here’s a rundown of all the megastars spotted so far at Worthy Farm this weekend.

He was spotted at a Taylor Swift concert earlier this month, and now Tom Cruise, 61, has swung by for Glastonbury.

Tom was joined on a raised balcony above the crowds by Mission: Impossible franchise co-star Simon Pegg, 54, and X-Files icon Gillian Anderson, 55.

The trio were captured on video by one X user as they sang along to Oasis’s Don’t Look Back In Anger while waiting for Coldplay to come onstage.

The actress, 28, channelled her Midsommar character by donning a crown made of flowers alongside a sleeveless black dress and combat boots.

The Dune: Part Two star took to the stage for a Q&A session where she revealed that she was ‘tip-toeing’ towards directing herself.

The flowers may have made a return, but the actress looked much cheerier than she got to be in the traumatic 2019 horror film.

Andrew, 47, and Paul, 28, were pictured together backstage, laughing and joking as they were joined by the film’s director, Andrew Haigh.

Andrew, meanwhile, was spotted queuing for a portaloo among the crowds, wearing a green shirt, blue tee and flat cap. See, just like us!

Socialite Cara Delevingne, 31, and actress Anya Taylor-Joy, 28, looked thick as thieves as they strolled through Worthy Farm on Friday, arms linked.

Anya wore a beige crop top and white mini-skirt, while Cara was dressed in a pair of denim shorts, white vest and plaid shirt.

They were spotted watching one of the performances, with Anya cooling down in a wet t-shirt and denim shorts, while Cara had changed into a white vest and black shorts.

Sienna Miller

She’s no stranger to Glastonbury, and Sienna Miller, 42, is back this year, spotted among the crowds on Friday.

The American Sniper actress was seen wearing a checkered jacket and black boots from Barbour.

Along with model Kate Moss, Sienna has been notable for her Glasto appearances over the years – a pioneer of the festival aesthetic.

Love Island host Maya Jama, 29, and rapper Stormzy, 30, looked loved-up as the pair were spotted together in the crowd.

He could be seen snapping pictures of her with a disposable camera as they partied.

The pair recently rekindled their romance after meeting in 2014 and then breaking up in 2019 – amid rumours of his cheating. The pair were spotted together again last year, holding hands while on holiday in Greece.

The pair have been dating for just under a year, after first being spotted together looking cosy at a Bruce Springsteen concert.

Like Kate and Sienna, fashionista and TV host Alexa Chung, 40, is notable for her Glastonbury appearances over the years.

The model and personality launched her own label in 2017, and has a long-standing collaboration with brands AG Jeans and British heritage brand Barbour.

This year, the star once again showcased her collaboration with Barbour, wearing a thick jacket with black boots and a flowing yellow dress from fashion brand DÔEN. She later changed her outfit to a more casual all-black look.

Lewis Capaldi

The Scottish singer, 27, was spotted by Metro.co.uk enjoying his weekend at the festival, rocking out to Dua Lipa’s headline act and then enjoying a drink with friends the following day.

This marks one year since he broke down in tears on stage as he struggled to manage his tourettes while singing. The crowd saw him through to the end of the difficult performance, chanting: ‘oh Lewis Capaldi!’

‘Lewis looked so happy. He was saying how pleased he was to be back at Worthy Farm and that he was going out to see some acts over the weekend,’ an onlooker told The Sun of this year’s appearance.

Sporty Spice Girl Mel C, 50, took the occasion to publicly launch her new boyfriend as they walked hand-in-hand together through the site.

Little is known about her new man, but the pair looked loved-up as they strolled together, smiling in the summer sun. Mel C had been single since breaking up with her boyfriend of seven years in 2022 – with whom she shares daughter Scarlett, 15.

She later took to the stage herself, performing as a surprise guest for the band Orbital.

Louis Tomlinson

The former One Direction star, 32, was spotted looking casual in a baseball cap and Adidas tracksuit, seated on a bench with his hands in his pockets.

Earlier this year, Louis hit out at ‘baseless’ rumours of a romance between himself and former bandmate Harry Styles, describing the situation as ‘tough.’

‘I’ve realised this some years ago, that there’s nothing I can say or do to dispel the rumours of this conspiracy,’ he told Brazilian outlet G1.

Celebrity performers

In addition to those there to take in the performances and atmosphere, the festival has also been enlivened by a number of surprise faces taking to the stage.

Back to the Future star Michael J. Fox, 63, joined Coldplay on guitar during the band’s headlining performance on Saturday.

‘Here’s another legendary Michael, one who just totally rocks with his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff,’ said frontman Chris Martin as he introduced the actor.

Tilda Swinton took to the stage with Orbital (Picture: BBC)

Meanwhile, Orbital brought out Doctor Strange star Tilda Swinton, 63, as part of their set, performing their hit song Deeper.

Elsewhere, Sam Smith, 32, joined Disclosure as their special guest for a performance of their collaboration, Latch. The star may be a pop sensation now, but was a relative unknown when they recorded vocals for the song in 2012.
