<p id=”par-1_20″>During the season 7 premiere of <em>The Kardashians</em>, Kim Kardashian revealed that she had been <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kim-kardashian-blames-aneurysm-kanye-west-divorce.html/”>diagnosed with a small brain aneurysm</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-2_26″>The SKIMS founder shared that doctors told her the cause was “stress.” Kim attributed that stress to her divorce from her third husband, Kanye West. </p>
<p id=”par-3_28″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/in-whose-name-clip-shows-just-how-tense-things-were-inside-kim-kardashian-and-kanye-wests-marriage.html/”>The former couple</a> were married in 2014 and have four children–North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, and it was finalized in 2022.</p>

<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-kim-claimed-that-west-hasn-t-seen-their-children-in-months”>Kim claimed that West hasn’t seen their children in months</h2>
<p id=”par-5_41″>Kim has previously described her marriage to Ye as “toxic” and when it comes to some of his antics, the beauty mogul admitted that she’s worried about her children and what they’re going to see and hear about the father. </p>
<p id=”par-6_56″>“My poor kids,” she said. “Everyone around can handle it, but like, protect my babies. They’re gonna know things. They’re gonna grow up, they’re gonna see. So my job as a mom is to just make sure that — at a time when that behavior is happening — is just to make sure that they’re protected.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_21″>She also talked about how their co-parenting hasn’t been easy, adding that West has not seen their children in months. </p>
<p id=”par-8_56″>“There will be all this talk on the internet about how I’m keeping the kids [from him]. He’s never once called and asked [to see them],” Kim claimed. “But then I’ll wake up and it’s on Twitter that I’m keeping the kids. So when it’s not true and not rational, I can’t engage all the time.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_70″>Kim insisted that she’s given Kanye every opportunity to be present, explaining, “It’s a divorce, not a kidnapping. We haven’t left. We’re in the same spot and we have the same address, so he knows where his kids are at,” she noted. “What happened to the house that you bought next door and we were going to co-parent and do a back and forth where you take them to school every day?”</p>

<p id=”par-10_18″>Kim made similar remarks a week <span style=”margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>before<em> The</em></span><em> Kardashians</em> premiere when she was a guest on Alex Cooper’s <em>Call Her Daddy </em>podcast.</p>
<p id=”par-11_59″>She said then, “It’s not a kidnapping, it’s a divorce … Every time he has asked, I will always let them see their father. That’s just who I am. If there’s a time where it’s really super unhealthy, then I will, you know, say ‘Hey, let’s do it here at my house or let’s figure out a different time.”</p>

<p id=”par-12_20″>Kim also claimed that their relationship and some of West’s erratic behavior caused her to have “a bit of Stockholm syndrome.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_69″>“I always felt really bad and always protected and always wanted to help. This was the first time I didn’t feel that responsibility personally,” she shared. “[People think] I should have stuck it out and I could have helped. As much as people think that I have the luxury of walking away and not dealing ever again, that’s not my reality. This person — we have four kids together.”</p>
