The uncertainty finally ends! FX has officially renewed “The Bear” for Season 5, just days after the fourth season dropped on June 25. The announcement comes as little surprise to fans whoâve been devouring the latest episodes and still canât get enough of Carmy, Sydney, and the heat inside the kitchen.

Hollywood Reporter reported that the Emmy-winning series will continue its run on Hulu, with Season 5 set to arrive sometime in 2026. While the final episode of Season 4 is titled âGoodbye,â the story is far from over.
Finally, fans can rest easy knowing Carmy and his crew will be back in the kitchen.
High Viewership and Fan Love Drive âThe Bearâ Season 5 Renewal
In a statement announcing the renewal, FX chairman John Landgraf praised the teamâs consistency and creativity.
âThe Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide, and their response to this season â as seen through incredibly high viewership â has been as spectacular as any of its previous seasons,â he said.
âYear-in and year-out, Chris Storer, the producers, cast and crew make The Bear one of the best shows on television.â
FX and Hulu havenât shared viewing numbers for Season 4 yet, but Season 3 was a huge hit â it stayed in Nielsenâs Top 10 for six weeks and clocked in at around 4.5 billion minutes watched, or 5 billion viewing minutes.
What Season 4 Set Up for the Future
Season 4 â filmed right after Season 3 â picks up with Carmy, Sydney, and Richie pushing to take their restaurant to the next level. But with money running out and time running short, the pressure is more intense than ever.
The new season also brings back fan favorites like Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon returning in recurring roles.
Whoâs Behind the Scenes?
“The Bear” was created by Christopher Storer, who also executive produces alongside Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai, and Rene Gube.
Courtney Storer, Chris’s sister, serves as co-executive producer and culinary producer, adding authentic flavor to every kitchen scene.
FX Productions continues to serve as the studio behind the critically acclaimed hit.
âThe Bearâ Keeps Winning Big â And Itâs Not Done Yet
So far, “The Bear” has garnered 177 award nominations and won 111 awards, including 21 Primetime Emmys. Jeremy Allen White has won Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for two consecutive years. Fans are now rooting for him to earn another nomination.

With the Season 4 finale hinting at more story to come, itâs no surprise FX has greenlit a fifth season. You can start streaming all seasons of “The Bear” here.
