Hallmark star Jack Wagner is stepping back in time for his next gig, but it has nothing to do with “When Calls the Heart.” Rather, Wagner is returning to the world of soap operas, but only for a brief visit.
Jack Wagner Is Filming New Scenes for ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
On April 10, Deadline revealed that Wagner would return to “The Bold and the Beautiful” to reprise his character of Nick Marone. The media outlet shared he was on the set of “The Bold and the Beautiful” during the week of April 10 to begin filming.
Wagner’s first appearance in this guest stint will air on June 13.
The storyline that brings Marone back to Los Angeles involves his ex, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Deadline noted that Marone’s return comes at the same time that Logan is “feeling defeated and lost, grappling with heartbreak and the painful realization that her relationship [with Ridge Forrester] may be irreparably broken.”
When Marone crosses paths with Logan again, she finds herself grappling with lots of unresolved feelings and memories. They reconnect, and he’ll provide “a sense of comfort and stability” to Logan.
The duo will discover the sparks still fly between them, and she may find herself torn between what could be with Marone and the history she has with Forrester.
Fans Are Eager to See Wagner Back on B&B
As Deadline noted, Wagner first joined “The Bold and the Beautiful” in 2003. He departed in 2012, but was back in March 2022 for an anniversary episode.
Wagner’s IMDb page indicates he appeared in over 1,330 episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” before joining “When Calls the Heart” in 2014.
Before those roles, he played the iconic character of Frisco Jones on “General Hospital.” He appeared in over 650 episodes between 1984 and 2013.
At this point, it is not known how long Wagner’s return to the character of Marone will last.
Fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” are excited about Wagner’s return.
