EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick has been hit by allegations he cheated on his girlfriend during last year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The actor, who plays Jay Brown in the BBC soap, was dating Chloe Strand while participating in Strictly 2024 with pro partner Michelle Tsiakkas, 29.
Just days ago, it emerged that Jamie, 30, had been dumped by Chloe after his sex toy scandal involving Wynne Evans emerged.
Now, however, those close to Chloe have claimed he was unfaithful to her both during Strictly filming and the tour earlier this year.
According to The Sun, Jamie’s alleged infidelity was rumbled when a mutual friend of Chloe had dinner with the other woman this month.

During the meal, it’s believed she claimed she had been in a long-term relationship with Jamie. She said they took a ‘break’ in August before getting back together ‘exclusively’ in August, just before Strictly began.

Upon making the discovery, the publication claims Chloe told her friends that ‘Jamie is devious and deceptive.’
‘He told me he loved me and he was planning our future,’ the 30-year-old is believed to have added.
‘I was seeing him between March last year and earlier this month—but I’ve learned he was also with another woman from around August.
‘I met his friends, including his Strictly pals, on the tour. I was on calls with his family, and he was going to give me a key to his new property and talked of me cooking him dinner when he got home.
‘He’d even chosen the names of the two dogs we were buying together. But the whole time, he was declaring love to another woman behind my back.’
It’s claimed Chloe asked her pals, ‘How can anyone behave like this?’, alleging Jamie cancelled their March holiday last minute to go on a boozy getaway with his mates.

But it’s believed he instead went to Amsterdam with the unnamed mystery woman for the romantic weekend.
Consequently, Chloe has reportedly called his actions ‘cruel’ and accused Jamie of ‘gaslighting’ after he ‘moaned at [her] for suggesting [she] wouldn’t let him go with his friends.’
‘Jamie doesn’t know where the plotlines on EastEnders finish and real life starts. I’m disgusted with him, and I hope no other woman falls for his charms.’
The two kept their romance largely out of the public eye after getting together early last year.
Chloe, an office worker, initially met Jamie at a bash at 100 Wardour Street in central London in March, where Jamie was drinking with EastEnders icon Dean Gaffney.
It’s thought the Robbie Jackson actor approached Chloe and asked her for her Instagram, to which she joked she ‘preferred [his] mate’.

She and Jamie eventually hit it off and struck up a relationship in the following weeks.
Alas, their romance came crumbling down when Chloe apparently learned of Jamie’s cheating, having since been put in touch with the other woman and exchanged messages with her.
Originally, it was believed the demise of their romance was due to Jamie’s laddish behaviour on the Strictly tour, which led to him and fellow star Wynne becoming embroiled in controversy.
In April, a video surfaced of the opera singer joking around with the adult toy, leading to him allegedly being told off by show bosses.

Wynne reportedly sent the toy to Jamie backstage at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena before the clip made its way to the Strictly WhatsApp group.
Upon it being made public, it’s thought that Chloe realised she had made the ‘right choice’ by dumping Jamie, as he started acting ‘weirdly’.
An insider said at the time: ‘Strictly was a whirlwind for Jamie, and they managed to keep it going when he was on the show.
But Chloe dumped Jamie when he finished the Strictly tour. She said she felt like Jamie didn’t have time for her.’
Reps for Jamie Borthwick have been contacted for comment.
