Among those who paid tribute to the late Goodall was actress Jane Fonda, who penned a heartfelt message about her loss.Â
Jane Fonda Remembered Fondly
Fonda posted a photo of herself and Goodall on Instagram. They are smiling widely. In the caption, the âGrace and Frankieâ star shared her thoughts and her heartbreak.
âMy heart breaks at the news that the brave, heartful, history-making Jane Goodall has passed,â she wrote. âThrough her work with chimps, she did more than any human being has, to let us understand the richness of animal lives: their intelligence, skills, unique personalities, use of tools, empathy, suffering when one of theirs was killed. I loved her very much. I think the best way we can honor her life is to treat the earth and all its beings like our family, with love and respect.âÂ

The comment section of Fondaâs post has been flooded with reactions from fans who have shared their condolences and sent love to the actress during this sad time. âWe couldn’t agree more, Jane,â a tribute reads. âWe are forever grateful for Dr. Goodall’s legacy. Her message of hope through action is one we will always carry with us.â
âBeautiful tribute and Thank you Dr Goodall! For Everything!â another person shared.
âJane and Jane my two heroes! Gosh, I could write a book and never stop writing about how these two women influenced me,â a third comment read. âRest and power, Jane Goodall. And thank you, Jane Fonda for showing us how.â
