Jason Bateman stepped onto the red carpet with his wife and daughters, proving once again that family is his favorite role. The 56-year-old Emmy-winning actor attended the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, September 7, for the premiere of his new Netflix limited series âBlack Rabbitâ with co-star Jude Law.

He and Anka, who married in 2001, welcomed Francesca in 2006 and Maple in 2012. He has time and again spoken about his daughters on talk shows as well.
âBeing a father of two is everything I wanted,â Bateman told Redbook in 2013. âIâm a big fan of marriage and being a dad. And my wife, Amanda, makes those things easy. She spoils me; she makes the husband part simple.â
Family Support Through the Years
Bateman has never shied away from crediting his family for their love and support. When he won the SAG Award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series for âOzarkâ in 2019, he made sure to thank them.
âI would like to say specifically though to my wife, my two daughters â Amanda, Franny and Maple â without you, none of it would be enjoyable and it probably wouldnât be possible,â he said in his speech. âI love you more than I even tell you I do, and Iâll be home for kisses so donât go to bed. Amanda, pop a mint, Iâm going to come give you yours in about five minutes.â
