Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck Reunite for Sweet Family Outing: PHOTOS

Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck showed off their smooth co-parenting as they reunited for a movie outing in L.A. with two of their kids and his mom.

According to photos published by TMZ, Affleck kept it casual in a white T-shirt, tan pants, and a gray-and-black jacket, while Garner wore jeans paired with a striped zip-up cardigan.

A Relaxed Outing

The family looked relaxed and happy as they arrived at the theater together.

Their eldest daughter, Violet, 18, was absent from the outing as she is currently studying at Yale.

The Family’s Recent Outings

This isn’t the first time Garner and Affleck have reunited publicly in recent months. In July, the pair took their kids to Fenway Park in Boston to cheer on the Red Sox as they played the Tampa Bay Rays. Earlier this month, Affleck celebrated his 53rd birthday with his two younger children, taking them out for lunch at a Santa Monica café.

While Affleck has had great success as a director of films like “The Town” and “Argo,” he admits directing often took him away from family life. “The one regret I have about all the movies that I’ve directed is the amount of time it’s taken me away from my kids,” he told GQ in March.

Now, he says he prefers a nine-to-five schedule at his production company, Artists Equity, so he can be home when his children finish school. “That means more to me than any of it. That makes me happier,” Affleck explained.

Back in March 2024, Garner opened up to People magazine about the happiness her children give her as she prepared to celebrate her 52nd birthday.

“They’re really solid right now,” she said. “I’m just watching them in this new phase of life where they’re figuring out who they’re going to be and what they’re going to study. And I’m so interested in them. All the time, I’m interested in everything about them.”

When asked if it was difficult to let her kids make their own choices, Garner admitted it isn’t always easy. “It’s so hard. I mean, my parents did too, and I’m so amazed by that. I have a really hard time not saying, ‘This is what I see you as,’ and ‘I think you should.’ I really have to sit on my hands.”

Garner and Affleck may have ended their marriage in 2015, but their dedication to family is unwavering. The pair smiled alongside Chris Affleck as they arrived at the Moving Arts Theatre, showing that their bond as parents remains strong.

With Garner happily dating John Miller and Affleck recently finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, the former couple continues to prove that co-parenting with respect and unity is possible.
