Jennifer Lopez expertly handles unwanted visitor that crawls up her neck mid-concert

Jennifer Lopez has maintained her cool after a massive creepy crawly made its way up her neck during a recent performance.

Last month the singer, 56, kicked off her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour, her first in six years.

After starting in Spain, she will play 21 shows across Europe.

However, during her concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Sunday night, she faced an unwanted fan getting a little too close for comfort.

As J-Lo stood in front of a microphone, a cricket was filmed making its way up her chest before getting to her neck.

Without missing a beat, she remained calm and continued singing, grabbing the insect at the same time and throwing it to the side of the stage.

Addressing the crowd while smiling, she said that ‘it was tickling me’ before continuing the show.

Many were impressed by her poise, with fans commenting on her approach to dealing with the situation.

‘I aspire to handle problems as calm and elegant as J Lo flicking a cricket off her mid-concert,’ Nova commented on X.

‘J Lo the goat for how she handled that cricket cuz babyyyyy I would’ve been rolling all over that stage,’ Naj declared.

Video of the incident, posted by a fan account also pointed out and joked: ‘Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman… on stage… in real time.

The light-hearted comment referenced her upcoming film project, Kiss of the Spider Woman, an adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical of the same name, which is due to be released in the coming months.

This however wasn’t J Lo’s only mishap on stage in recent months. Just a few weeks ago she suffered a wardrobe malfunction in the middle of a show.

While performing in Warsaw, Poland on July 25, a glittery skirt the singer was wearing snapped off her waist and fell to the floor.

Despite this she also didn’t freak out, instead smiling and strutting around the stage.

‘I’m out here in my underwear. That’s gonna be everywhere,’ she joked as a dancer approached her with the skirt and tried to help put it back on.

She later said: ‘I’m glad that they reinforced that costume. And I’m glad I had underwear on. I don’t usually wear underwear.’
