Jerry Seinfeld had one word to describe a pro-Palestinian protester who interrupted him at a recent comedy show: Moron.

The Seinfeld actor was performing on stage at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on Sunday night, when his set was briefly disrupted.

In a video from the tour stop in Australia, the unseen heckler could be heard chanting that ‘Palestine will be free’, leading the 70-year-old to hit back.

‘We have a genius, ladies and gentlemen. He solved the Middle East. He solved it,’ he told the crowd. ‘It’s the Jewish comedians, that’s who we have to get. They’re the ones doing everything.’

Security stepped in to escort the man in question out, as the TV star continued: ‘They’re going to start punching you in about three seconds, so I would try and get all your genius out so we all learn from you.

‘It’s a comedy show, you moron. Get out of here.’

‘Imagine if this guy actually did solve…,’ Jerry said amid more shouting. ‘You’re really influencing everyone here. We’re all on your side now because you have made your point so well and in the right venue.

‘You’ve come to the right place for political conversation.

‘Tomorrow we will read in the paper: “Middle East 100% solved thanks to man at the Qudos Arena stopping Jew comedian…”’

‘You have to go 20,000 miles from the problem and screw up a comedian. That is how you solve world issues,’ he added, to applause from the audience.

Jerry has been vocal in his support of Israel, and visited the country after the October 7 attack by Hamas, which led to 1,200 deaths.

In the wake of the atrocity, more than 36,000 Palestinians have died as tensions escalated.

During a controversial appearance on the Honestly with Bari Weiss podcast – in which he spoke of missing ‘real men’ – he was questioned about the trip and became visibly emotional while reflecting on it.

He described it as ‘the most powerful experience of my life’.

The Unfrosted actor was also met with a wave of boos during his commencement speech at Duke University, amid anti-war student protests.

According to Politico, he was in attendance for the speech, and to receive an honorary doctorate from the school.
