Jessie J has shared she is now free from breast cancer after undergoing surgery this week.

Earlier this month the 37-year-old singer, best known for hits including Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang, explained she was about to ‘disappear’ for a bit after being diagnosed with cancer.

Jessie – real name Jessica Ellen Cornish – shared she was set to have surgery after performing at Capital’s Summertime Ball, which was held on June 15.

A few weeks on she’s now said the surgery was a success and her cancer is ‘all gone’.

Posting an update on Instagram, she wrote a list of ‘pros’: ‘Cancer is all gone. My nipple is where it used to be, I can watch Love Island with no guilt. I am getting to rest and talk to friends more than ever.’

She went on: ‘My mum lives with us. Sky just being Sky. Chanan making me feel safe and the messages are 10/10.

‘Connecting with other people who are going through a similar time and being able to support each other. Lot of other things…’

However, she then posted a list of ‘cons’, which included ‘not being the mum I’m used to being and picking Sky up’ and ‘the pain and discomfort when trying to sleep’.

When performing at the Capital event, Jessie told fans: ‘Today, this show is my last show before I go and beat breast cancer.’
