<p id=”par-2_70″>Joan Vasoss has an update on her wedding plans for her fans, but it’s probably not the update they were hoping for. Vassos sat down with <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.lifeandstylemag.com/posts/joan-vassos-reveals-why-she-changed-her-mind-about-having-tv-wedding/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Life & Style</a> recently to chat about life. She told the publication that she and Chapple haven’t actually nailed down any wedding plans. In fact, she insists. They haven’t even begun talking about it. There is no location, date, or theme picked out yet.</p>

Vassos is already wrapped up in planning a different wedding, and she has several upcoming plans that will keep her busy through the fall. Much of her attention has gone to her son’s wedding. Nicholas Vassos is set to wed in August. She revealed that she and Chapple have some events in the fall to look forward to, as well. Once winter sets in, she is confident that planning will get underway.</p>

<p id=”par-4_88″>While some <em>The Golden Bachelorette</em> fans are concerned about the lack of movement in the couple’s relationship, it actually tracks with what Vassos said before flying out to California to film season 1 of <em>The Golden Bachelorette.</em> In May 2024, Joan Vassos told <a href=”https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/15/entertainment/golden-bachelorette-joan-vassos/index.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>CNN </a>that fans were unlikely to see a second, quick golden wedding. At the time, she said she wasn’t opposed to leaving the show engaged but did want to spend some time seeing her beau operate in the real world before making any legal commitment.</p>

<p id=”par-5_38″>So far, she’s done just that. She and Chapple left the show engaged. Since then, they’ve been spending time together but don’t reside in the same state. They actually seem to be enjoying the dynamic of long-distance courting.</p>
<p id=”par-6_53″>Vassos is no stranger to commtiment. She was married to her late husband, John Vassos, for 32 years. He died in 2021 from pancreatic cancer. Chapple is divorced once and lost a long-term partner. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/chock-chapple-explains-long-engagement-the-golden-bachelorette-fans-red-flag.html/”>He was engaged </a>for nine years before appearing on the show. Chapple’s late fiancée died of cancer in 2022.</p>
