Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen could not be happier with his new marriage to actress Hailee Steinfeld.
Allen has had a string of recent accomplishments, but he told reporters marrying his “best friend” topped the list, according to TMZ.
“They’ve all been big,” he began. “None other than marrying my best friend. She makes everything easier.”
He stated marrying Steinfeld was the best decision in his life.
“I don’t really focus on the other stuff, that was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one,” he continued.
Allen already has been showing off his wedding ring in images that were released on the Buffalo Bills Instagram page.
In addition to getting married, Allen earned the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award. He also signed a contract extension for a whopping $330 million.
Allen & Steinfeld Are Incredibly Private
The notoriously private couple rarely post each other to social media or discuss their relationship.
Steinfeld briefly explained about why the couple keeps their relationship private while speaking with Who What Wear in February.
“When you realize that so much is already out there in every other aspect of your life, you really learn to cherish the little that isn’t,” she told the outlet. “It just makes things extra special, and it’s just for you.”
The two were first rumored to be together in May 2023, and it took over a year for Allen to share images with Steinfeld on social media.
The couple announced their engagement in November 2024, with a gorgeous image of Allen proposing.
The “Sinners” actress briefly mentioned the beautiful proposal in her Who What Wear interview.
“We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word,” she gushed.
She said she was grateful Allen was able to keep the surprise under wraps and even got her to dress up before the special occasion.
“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’” she added.
The Two Wed in May
The 29-year-old football star and the 28-year-old actress wed May 31 in California, according to PEOPLE.
It was a star-studded event that included many of Allen’s Buffalo Bills teammates and comedian Larry David.
Steinfeld wore a stunning white strapless wedding gown with a tulle veil and opera gloves. Allen kept it simple and classic with a black suit.
