Julian McMahon’s Daughter Honors Late Star on His Birthday, ‘Charmed’ & ‘Nip/Tuck’ Cast Join In

Julian McMahon’s daughter, Madison McMahon, is reflecting on her father’s memory of what would’ve been his 57th birthday. The 25-year-old posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram just weeks after the “Charmed” and “Nip/Tuck” star died from a private cancer battle.

“Dad, happy birthday,” she wrote over a touching black-and-white photo of them together. “There will never be enough words to describe how much I miss you. And somehow, even less that capture how deeply I love you. All I know is that I’ll miss you and love you forever.”

Madison set the tribute to Ray Stevens’ “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow,” tagging her dad’s official Instagram account.

Friends & Co-Stars Celebrate Julian’s Life

On his birthday, Julian’s family posted on his official Instagram, encouraging fans to support environmental protections in Australia, writing: “Happy Birthday Julian 💛.”

In the comments, many of Julian’s famous friends and former co-stars shared love. “Happy birthday dear Julian,” wrote Rose McGowan. “Thinking of your brilliant laugh. Donating in your name.”

Alyssa Milano wrote: “Happy Birthday, Pal. Thank you, Kelly. Love you all so much.”

Kelly Carlson, who starred alongside Julian on “Nip/Tuck,” penned a nostalgic tribute recalling their early scenes: “Happy Birthday Julian 🕊️ Thank you for great memories and so many laughs. Not to mention the reason Kimber stayed on N/T. So grateful for all of it. 🙏 Forever iconically immortalized with one of the best show openers ever! I know many will agree.’

She recalled her initial days of the shoot and said: “We would always laugh at the time during the filming of the pilot when setting up our first shot together, I whispered, “What does blocking mean”? The look on your face… then we both laughed 😂 And had a blast from then on navigating storylines that required much trust, a sense of humor, and an understanding of the human condition. I followed your lead and instincts. Always worked. Christian is one of the best Characters in history. No question. Thank you, my friend. 🙏🤍 K”

The Family Julian Left Behind

McMahon’s widow, Kelly McMahon (née Paniagua), shared the heartbreaking news of his death on July 4th with a statement to Deadline.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” Kelly said.

“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible,” the statement added. “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

Before marrying Kelly Paniagua in 2014, the actor was previously married to Australian pop star Dannii Minogue and later to Brooke Burns, 47, with whom he shares a daughter named Madison.

McMahon made his last red carpet appearance on March 10, 2025, at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas, where he promoted his film “The Surfer” alongside co-star Nicolas Cage.
