Justin Bieber will always be best known for his music, but he’s been trying to make fashion a close second. While 2020 was the debut of Drew, his clothing apparel line with stylist Ryan Good and designer Gianpiero DâAlessandro, he hasn’t been seen wearing the brand much anymore. Many have noticed the word SKYLRK appearing on the bottom of his shoes and, more recently, his hats. Bieber seems to be finally making good on his 2023 SKYLRK trademarks, and we’re seeing the first results on Instagram.
SKYLRK Promotion Features Bieber ‘Setting Drew House on Fire’
On April 1, Bieber posted an Instagram photo of five sweatshirt sleeves in various pastel colors. The following day, he posted another photo featuring even more colors and a vision board peeking out in the background. He captioned it @skylrk. Neima Khaila, who was thought to be Bieber’s collaborator on the fashion line, posted ð¥¶ð¥¶ð¥¶.
The next 24 hours saw a flurry of posts related to SKYLRK, beginning with the brand logo stamped on different colors. Bieber followed that up with photos of a sweatshirt with the logo on the bag, an assortment of sunglasses, and a sleek, puffed-up sky blue phone case.
The final post is a video of an AI-created Bieber riding his book to a house while Eddie Benjamin’s MANIAC plays. When he arrives, he walks to the pool, where a teddy bear is floating on an innertube with the words ‘Drew’ on it. After staring sadly as it floats away, he enters the house and starts a fire. As he walks away from the burning house, an AI Hailey Bieber awaits him. The two kiss and leave, pushing their baby in a stroller. They walk towards a building with a roof created from the SKYLRK logo.
A Playful Post Hints That SKYLRK Has Been Long in the Works
Following the clues, it’s apparent that SKYLRK has been cooking for a while. One post Justin Bieber made on March 31 was a photo of Bieber and Finn Rush-Taylor, with the caption “Damn me and this fool Finn cookinnnnnggggggg “Finn and Justin trainer team,” and the caption @skylrk @finn.rushtaylor.
A look at footwear designer Finn Rush-Taylor’s Instagram shows that the two have been working on the brand for some time now. Rush-Taylor included a post from March 14, 2024, showing the SKYLRK logo, and a month later, a carousel of photos containing the SKYLRK symbol, Bieber inspecting shoes, and a screenshot of “2021 goals,” with one list on the list: “…Work with Justin Bieber.”
That same day, Khaila also posted a photo of the logo and the same picture of Bieber inspecting shoes. This suggests that the three have been working on the brand together. While there’s nothing available to purchase yet, fans can sign up for updates at SKYLRK’s website.
