Kanye West makes morbid confession about life in extremely rare interview

Known for his straight-talking and often divisive remarks, Kanye West has made a rather bleak admission about life.

The Gold Digger rapper, 48, stepped out in Japan this week, seemingly wanting to blend in on his nighttime stroll in the city.

However, an eagle-eyed TikTok star picked the fashion designer, flanked by stony-faced security, out of the crowd.

He began interviewing West for his page, Mystery Fashionist, asking him about his outfit, to which the controversial star made some self-assured remarks.

Asked first of all for his name and where he came from, West replied: ‘I’m Ye, I’m from Chi.’ West legally changed his name to Ye in 2018, and ‘Chi’ is short for Chicago.

Upon being instructed to ‘rate’ and describe his look, West, who was clad in light-wash denim jeans, a matching jacket, a black puffer coat, and boots, declared: ‘Oh, it’s always a 10 out of 10.’

‘I got the original Yeezy 950 boots on. Gosha did the pop-up today, so the rest of it’s all Gosha,’ he explained, name-checking a designer for his casual attire

Finally, the Monster hitmaker was asked: ‘What’s a fashion trend you regret participating in?’

West’s reply? ‘Life.’

The TikTok has been viewed almost five million times in just one day, with the comments all pretty surprised to see West making an appearance, since his outings are rare these days, and his interviews even rarer.

‘How did you even get him on camera in the 1st place???😂😂’, asked a stunned @augustthird_.

‘Life… 😩😩 He ain’t lying lol. It’s rough out here!!’, wrote @shacree.rose.

Others noted how ‘sad’ and ‘tired’ West seemed in the video, with one even saying he resembled a ‘clone’ of himself.

‘You literally never know what is going to come out of this man’s mouth’, added @tinooeee, while @mbalipet quipped: ‘I’m surprised he actually introduced himself 😭😭😭😭 he was very nice here’.

West seldom speaks on camera these days. It’s only really this month that he’s become a more active public figure again, having made another appearance in Japan when Travis Scott brought him out for a show, West dramatically unmasking himself before performing two tracks.

At the start of November, he also sat down with Rabbi Yoshiayo Yosef Pinto to ‘take accountability’ for the antisemitic language he has spewed.

West – who previously called himself a ‘Nazi’ – expressed ‘profound remorse’ for his offensive behaviour and claimed his outbursts were caused by bipolar.

Through a translator, the Rabbi squeezed West’s hands and told him: ‘You are a very good man.’

It’s actually not often West is seen flying solo at all anymore, as wife Bianca Censori is typically by his side, wearing a revealing outfit while he is fully clothed.

Ye married the model in 2022 in a private ceremony, having split from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 45, in February 2021. Together, the exes formerly known as Kimye share children North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, five.

West’s marriage to Censori frequently captures press attention, particularly after he admitted to having ‘dominion’ over her in response to backlash to her sheer dress at the Grammys.

For several months, fans have been expressing concern for the 30-year-old architect’s welfare, worried that he could be controlling her and dictating what she wears.

Recently, West’s alleged ‘rules’ for his other half were revealed, with a source claiming he oversees everything – even down to her diet – to keep her ‘looking her best’.

They told the Daily Mail that West will order for Censori when they dine out, making her eat only appetisers and then eat from smaller plates at home to manage her portion sizes.

In contrast, West likes to eat fried chicken or macaroni and cheese regularly.

Other so-called rules in their marriage include West forbidding Censori from having tattoos or piercings and insisting that she exercise every morning.

The most shocking part of all, though, came when the insider claimed Censori doesn’t have an issue with her husband’s demands.

‘Most women would hate this move; they would think their husband was controlling them,’ they said. ‘But Bianca likes it because she feels her husband is supporting her and helping her look as good as she can.’

As for her risqué outfits, they added: ‘Bianca likes putting her body on display.

‘She loves flaunting her curves; she is kind of an exhibitionist.

‘No one knows if this is the real her or if Kanye has brainwashed her.’

However, another source defended West, saying he approaches the rules in a ‘nice’ way as he is ‘not some monster’.
