Kanye West has been reported to Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) over his song lyrics, it has been claimed.

The Carnival rapper is said to have arrived in Moscow over the weekend for a birthday party – as well as a meeting with President Putin.

However, according to a source, activists are reportedly seeking to ban the 47-year-old from entering the country again after his song lyrics raised eyebrows.

Hardline Russian Orthodox activists have allegedly complained of lyrics alluding to Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine in one track, as well as ‘drugs propaganda’ in his recent hit, Vultures.

In the song in question, a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, one lyric reads: ‘She Russian, I beat up the p***y for Ukraine.’

After Ye’s surprise visit to Russia, it is thought that he will be returning in September for an upcoming performance, but the traditionalist movement – Sorok Sokolov – reportedly wants this blocked.

He has allegedly been reported to the FSB over the song, with a letter of complaint reading: ‘This ******* decided to sing in the main song of the new album how he aggressively ****** a Russian woman in retaliation for the special operation [war] in Ukraine.

‘The Russian woman in his work is exclusively a “prostitute and drug addict”.

‘The Russian woman in the work of this artist appears exclusively in the image of a drug-addicted prostitute with perverted inclinations.’

‘Just for these words, he should be afraid to approach our border, look at it from afar and quietly dream of once again being on a ship on the Moscow River, having first sincerely repented with tears, perhaps on his knees.

‘Let him be afraid to breathe in the direction of Russia after this.’

Noting that Vultures is a collaboration, they demanded that everyone involved should be banned from future visits.

‘It doesn’t matter who sang this line – he or his accomplice – this is a joint creation,’ the message reportedly continued.

‘He is the main performer of this album, both are responsible. The second one should also be prohibited from entering.

‘The singer is planning to come to Russia [but he] publicly, in his work, extremely humiliates and despises Russian women, supports the aggression of Ukraine, against our military personnel performing their military duty….’

The upset party also insisted that Kanye should not ‘calmly travel around our land, around our capital’ and make money from Russian women.

‘[He] promotes the use of drugs and other destructive patterns, and who, among other things, plans to make money in the capital of our country,’ they added.

Multiple news outlets claimed that Kanye arrived in Moscow on Sunday – with some suggesting that he was performing, while others reported that he was due to meet President Putin.

Other Russian news sites suggest that the artist has been seen at a five-star hotel near the Russian government, and arrived on a private plane.

It has also been reported that he was put up at the Four Seasons Hotel during the visit.

Although the reason for the trip is still unclear, Kanye’s move has sparked many questions as many Western stars have shunned Moscow since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
