Kate Beckinsale casually moons London with her bare backside from window

Kate Beckinsale, known for her appetite for fun and mischief, showed off her latest antics on social media as she pressed her bare bum to a window overlooking London streets.

The Pearl Harbour actress, 50, shared a video on Instagram as she ‘mooned’ passersby on the London streets from a window opposite the upscale department shop, Harvey Nichols.

The star wore a black t-shirt and matching black tracksuit bottoms which she shimmied to down her thighs in order to expose her bottom. 

The second video showed the road in Knightsbridge that wasn’t particularly busy, but it would have only taken one curious pedestrian to look up and see her exposed bum. 

The caption of the post revealed that Kate’s cheeky behaviour was her way of dealing with difficult times as she explained she did something similar when her cat Clive died.

The caption read: ‘The day after Clive died and I received some of the most horrific news I’ve ever received that next morning – sometimes there’s nothing for it but for your friend to show up as hard as possible and spend the evening making prank calls and mooning Harvey Nichols because sometimes when the bottom falls out of your world the only response after crying till you’re sick is your own bottom @nina_kate I’ll never forget you jumping into the fire with me x’

Since the death of her feline friend, the star has had two tattoos etched onto her skin in tribute to Clive.

Kate has also faced medical difficulties recently after spending weeks in and out of hospital at the beginning of the year.

In addition to this, she was forced to respond to critics who said she was ‘too thin’ in recent weeks as she told them she ‘Couldn’t give a f**k.’

She elaborated on her struggles in an emotional post: ‘I nursed my [stepdad] to his death early this year. My mum also has stuff going on. I am adjusting to watching two fathers die, one when I was 5, one in January of this year.

‘I lost my soulmate cat of almost 19 years, also last year. I spent six weeks in hospital due to copiously vomiting blood from a [Mallory-Weiss tear] caused by the stress of a whole year ripping a hole between my [oesophagus] and stomach.’

‘That’s what I am prepared to disclose that has contributed to some weight loss,’ she said.

After sharing this lighthearted way of coping with hard times, fans were quick to encourage the star’s quirky behaviour and commented on her post with their support.

Outlandish_creations joked: ‘It was a full moon over Knightsbridge that evening!’

Jimmiejscott complimented the star’s sense of humour commenting: ‘How did you never get your own reality show? I feel like you’re one of the most consistently entertaining people alive.’

To which Kate replied: ‘@raydee8love god me tooo.’
