Kate Garraway has shared who exactly declined an invite to join the Celebrity Traitors WhatsApp group for the star-studded cast members.
The 58-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter was the latest in a long string of Faithfuls to be banished from the roundtable on the BBC game of wink murder.
Kate was the last celebrity to leave the show ahead of next week’s finale episode and also the last to reveal her true identity after a banishment.
The cast have all been sharing details about the WhatsApp group they have, to chat all things Traitors as the show airs – but Kate says show host Claudia Winkleman turned down the invite to get involved.
The TV presenter told The Sun: ‘The WhatsApp group is popping off all day and night, actually. It’s brilliant.
‘We invited Claudia [Winkleman] to join the group because we all adore Claudia, obviously. But she said no.

‘She said, “You need a place that’s just for you guys now that you’re out and you know what’s going on”.’
It comes after Kate appeared on her show Good Morning Britain, this time as a guest, to debrief on her sudden exit from the show and what it’s really like in the Scottish castle.
Addressing what can be a ‘standoffish’ atmosphere around the roundtable, Kate explained why those ‘tense’ moments were never things she took personally.
‘At the end of the day, it’s an incredible game, which you’re completely sucked into,’ she told Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh in the ITV studio.
‘No phones, no contact with the outside world. You’re absolutely in this intensity.
‘I didn’t take it personally because I’ve lived genuine life or death. So at the end of the day, this is a game, and you know that you’re not really going to be murdered.
‘You know that you might not make it to breakfast, but life will go on. So I didn’t take any of it personally, but I think it’s very easy to take it personally, you become really close, really quickly to people in that tight environment.’
Elsewhere in her interview with The Sun, Kate said she initially refused to carry a coffin in the dramatic episode two stunt because it reminded her of her husband Derek Draper’s death.
After seeing Charlotte Church and Paloma Faith struggling to carry the coffin without her, Kate stepped up to take part, but said the production team repeatedly checked on her and there was a psychologist present as well.
The Celebrity Traitors returns on Thursday at 9pm on BBC One for the finale.
