Reunion With ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Cast Coming Soon

Holmes is also preparing for a special reunion with her “Dawson’s Creek” co-stars. On September 22, she will appear at the Richard Rodgers Theater in Midtown Manhattan for a live reading of the 1998 pilot episode. The sold-out event will feature James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson, and other cast members, benefiting F*** Cancer.

Holmes, who played Joey Potter from 1998 to 2003, once described the series as a defining role in her career.

Upcoming Projects & Personal Life

Outside of her upcoming reunion, Holmes has been busy with her passion project, a trilogy called “Happy Hours.” She not only wrote and directed it, but also stars alongside her former flame Joshua Jackson.

The story follows two former lovers who reunite years later and attempt to rekindle their relationship while navigating work, family, and the complexities of life in between.

Offscreen, Holmes is mom to 19-year-old Suri, her daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Suri mostly avoids the spotlight, though reports indicate that Cruise still covers her tuition and medical expenses, despite their estranged relationship.

Holmes herself has kept her love life low-key since calling it quits with musician Bobby Wooten III back in 2022. Next up, Holmes will step back on stage to take on the title role in Barry Edelstein’s adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic “Hedda Gabler.” The production is set to run from February 7 through March 8, 2025, at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.
