Katie Price and Peter Andre have locked horns once more following claims made about daughter Princess’ new reality TV show.
It came after Katie hit out at Princess’s new reality series, claiming that she wasn’t allowed to appear in the series because she is considered ‘trash’.
Peter shared a lengthy statement on his Instagram page, saying his silence ‘ends today.’
‘The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight,’ he shared.
‘For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.

‘In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.

‘In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.
‘Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.’
In a statement to Metro, Katie’s representative said in response: ‘Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she’s dealing with this the right way and it’s now in her lawyers hands.
‘Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was…’
This is far from the first public spat the former couple has endured, regularly lashing out at each other since the breakdown of their four-year relationship.
How did Katie Price and Peter Andre meet?
It was ‘Insania’ when Katie and Mysterious Girl singer Peter met in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity in early 2004.

Sparks flew around the campfire, with Katie admitting she wanted to leave her boyfriend at the time, Scott Sullivan, and sharing a hammock with Peter one night.
Just a year after they began dating, the lovebirds tied the knot at Highclere Castle, the home of Downton Abbey, with Katie walking down the aisle in a pine wedding dress complete with a seven-metre train.
She arrived at the venue in a fairytale horse-drawn carriage, wearing a sparkling crown to match Peter’s all white suit adorned with crystals.
Cameras followed the pair as they made a series of reality television shows and also recorded the greatest cover version known to man, A Whole New World from Aladdin.

Previously speaking about their relationship, Katie said she was ‘fixated’ with Peter.
‘Having Pete there in the jungle did make it easier because you’d fall asleep thinking of him and wake up seeing him there.
‘If you haven’t clicked with someone in there, I think it’s quite hard and lonely.
‘It was a proper love story and I think me and Pete are the only ones who had kids come out of it.’
What happened between Katie Price and Peter Andre?
After four years together, the couple officially divorced in October 2009.

Announcing their split, they asked ‘the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time.’
But their separation soon became very bitter and very public. Though Peter did not publicly comment on the reason for their split, he hinted that it was because Katie was unfaithful to him.
She has always strongly denied this and suggested that Peter was against her partying lifestyle.
‘We broke up because he thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider, and I’ve never slept with him,’ she said during an interview on Paul Brunsdon’s We Need To Talk podcast.
‘I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he was married.
‘But when me and Pete split, because he used to keep saying, “That’s it. I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough.”

‘It got to a point where I went, “Well, divorce me”. I remember the day, because then I flew to the Maldives with the kids.
‘That day, I’m at the airport, it’s all on Sky News, it wasn’t mutual at all. And then I redone a statement saying I don’t want to split with Pete, it’s Pete that’s splitting with me.
‘Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it.’
Soon after they both had tattoos covered and removed that were dedicated to each other, and Katie became the first celebrity to re-enter the jungle in 2009 to get closure on their relationship.
In 2011, Peter successfully sued Katie over an interview in Heat magazine in which she accused him of cheating on her, and a year later, Katie attempted to sue Peter for leaking details about her private life.

A spokesman for Katie told Newsbeat at the time: ‘Kate is having to continue her claim against her ex-husband; ex-manager and ex-friend for breach of confidence.
‘The pleadings in that action speak for themselves and Kate has no comment to add.’
In 2015, both parties reached a settlement deal before the case was due to go to trial.
Who are Katie Price and Peter Andre’s children?
The pair have two children together, Junior, born in June 2005, and daughter Princess Tiaamii, born in June 2007.
Princess and Junior recently opened up on how their parents prepared them for fame and dealing with ‘horrible people.’
‘I feel like the way I think about it is if you’re putting yourself out there, you have to expect negativity and positivity too,’ Princess, 18, said on This Morning.

‘We learnt from our parents how to deal with it. There are horrible people but we just have to deal with it.’
Junior, 20, added: ’Growing up in the public eye comes with its pros and cons. We keep a lot of things private, people think they know a lot more than they do.
‘We’re normal and humble, we don’t feel different to anyone else. We’re all human.’
During the first episode of her show, The Princess Diaries, Princess spoke about her childhood and admitted she ‘saw things kids shouldn’t see.’
She also addressed family feud rumours, saying: ‘It’s my show, it’s not based on my parents, it’s focused on me. To be honest, there’s no rift between me and either of my parents.’
Discussing her birthday party in particular, which was thrown by her father Peter and Katie did not attend, she told Daily Mail: ‘What I would usually do, as I’ve done my whole life, would be to spend the morning with one parent and the evening with the other.

‘As it happened, mum ended up being away, and dad had already decided to throw me a last-minute birthday party, which we filmed for the show.
‘But anyhow, it would be weird if both parents were in the same room, as I’m sure a lot of people out there with divorced parents can relate to.’
Katie went on to welcome two children, Bunny, 10, and Jett, 10, with ex-husband Kieran Hayley, and also shares Harvey, 23, with ex Dwight Yorke.
Peter, meanwhile, married Emily MacDonagh in 2015 and they share three children, Millie, 10, Theo, eight, and Arabella, one.
What has Katie Price said about Peter Andre?
Katie has regularly slammed her ex-husband, recently calling him ‘pathetic’ for allegedly banning her from Princess’ 18th birthday party.
In her rant about The Princess Diaries, she accused Peter and his management team of keeping her away from the show.

‘I want the best for Junior and Princess, and I would never get in the way of it,’ she began in an episode of her podcast with sister Sophie Price.
‘But what hurts my feelings, and it does upset me, is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you go to their football matches or gymnastics, you’re involved in everything they do.
‘And knowing that, what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path, trying to do the same as what I’ve done, which I absolutely love and adore [about] Princess.’
She added: ‘But unfortunately, the management team and Pete, won’t allow me to be near here. They have made it clear, they won’t allow Princess to do photoshoots with me, they won’t allow me to got to any events with Princess – because they think I am trash basically.
‘Now, everyone knows she’s my daughter. So what difference does it make? Like if it wasn’t for me or Pete, Princess and Junior wouldn’t be known anyway. And I find it an insult as I’ve been in the industry for 30 years.’
