Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been pictured mid-embrace aboard a luxury yacht together.
The pop sensation, 40, first became linked to Trudeau, 53, when they were spotted on a date together in late July.
In a clip recorded by an onlooker, the I Kissed A Girl singer could be seen looking cosy with the former Prime Minister as they shared an intimate meal at a restaurant in Montreal.
It was reported that the pair had also shared drinks that same evening, as they headed out to the terrace at Taverne Atlantic in the Quebec capital.
Weeks later, and Trudeau was sighted in the audience at Perry’s concert in Montreal, furthering rumours of their romance.
The pair have now been captured in an intimate hug as they enjoyed some one-on-one time aboard a swanky boat in California.

In these images, Trudeau and Perry can be seen sharing a passionate hug, during which he appears to grab her backside.
Perry appears to be clad only in swimwear, while Trudeau is topless and wearing a pair of sunglasses.
Meanwhile, on the lower deck, those gathered look in the opposite direction as the embrace continues.
According to one onlooker, who was on a charter boat at the time, Perry and Trudeau pulled their boat alongside theirs before boarding the top deck.

As apparent confirmation of their relationship landed, shocked commenters took to social media to weigh in.
‘Such a strange combo,’ wrote befuddled_humbug on a Reddit thread.
‘Like what is even going on anymore,’ said a shelll-shocked softluvr.
The fabulousMolar commented simply: ‘WHAT IS THIS TIMELINE!?’
‘Perry and Trudeau relationship is not on my bingo card,’ agreed Soft_Cable5934.
‘Orlando Bloom gonna start dating Angela Merkel?’ joked YodaForceGhost, in reference to Perry’s recent break-up from actor Orlando Bloom.

Rumours of Perry and Trudeau’s relationship come soon after both parties split from their respective partners.
Perry split from longtime partner Bloom earlier this year, with the couple confirming the end of their relationship via a joint statement from representatives.
‘Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,’ they told US Weekly.
The statement continued: ‘They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.’

Lord of the Rings actor Bloom, 48, shares daughter Daisy Dove with the Teenage Dream singer. She was born in 2020 and they remain amicable co-parents, with Bloom sharing family Instagram snaps recently.
The celebrity couple first met in 2016 and, brief split in 2017 aside, remained rock solid until rumours of their separation began earlier this year.
Although neither he nor Perry explicitly addressed the news, Bloom shared a hint as to how he was feeling with a series of cryptic reposts to social media.
One such post included the Carl Jung quote: ‘Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.’

Meanwhile, Trudeau announced his own separation from wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023, following ‘many meaningful and difficult conversations.’
Grégoire first met Trudeau during their childhood years in Montreal. They reconnected as adults in 2003 and were wed in May 2005.
The pair share 16-year-old daughter Ella-Grace together, who was at Trudeau’s side as they enjoyed Perry’s concert back in August.
Fans took photos and videos of the former Canadian Prime Minister as he enjoyed Perry’s set, even mouthing along to her hit song, Dark Horse.
Neither party has publicly confirmed rumours of their romance.
