Kelly Osbourne is slowly rediscovering her smile after the death of her father, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne.

The 39-year-old shared a tender update on her Instagram Stories this week, revealing that falconry has become an unexpected source of comfort in the weeks since Ozzy died from cardiac arrest on July 22 at the age of 76.

Posting a video and photo of herself holding an owl, Kelly wrote, “In all my sadness and grief, I have found something that truly makes me happy!”

She continued, “I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!”

The update marks a turning point for the television personality, who has been open about the waves of sorrow that have followed her father’s passing.

In early August, she admitted she wasn’t sure when she would feel like herself again, describing grief as something that “sneaks up on you in waves.”

She added that her family has found strength in the support of fans worldwide, who continue to honor Ozzy’s legacy.

Ozzy’s Farewell: A Family and Fan Tribute

Ozzy’s final journey included a funeral procession through Birmingham, where Kelly and the Osbourne family joined thousands of fans at the Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench, observing touching memorial tributes.

Kelly subtly honored her father by wearing his signature round sunglasses—a quiet nod to his iconic style.

Kelly joined her mother Sharon and siblings Jack and Aimee in witnessing the public outpouring of love for the man who defined heavy metal for generations.

During the private funeral, Kelly performed a tribute that took on its own deeply symbolic meaning.

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, present at the service, recalled that as Kelly sang, “the wind blew her lyrics away,” a moment he described as “almost like Ozzy was having fun with her.”

Ozzy’s funeral was held July 31 in Los Angeles and featured deeply emotional tributes from family and friends.

Remembering the Lighter Moments

In a tender Instagram post shared July 26, Kelly revisited a joyful memory with her father from his A&E series “Jack & Ozzy’s World Detour.”

She reposted a clip where Ozzy climbs into a motorhome she’s driving and she said, “Morning, I got this song in my head I have to play it for you.”

The song was “Paradise” by George Ezra, and the two ended up having an impromptu jam session to the tune.

While the grief remains raw, Kelly’s latest post shows her taking steps toward healing.
