<p id=”par-2_54″>That news came days after Brooklyn and Nicola were a no-show at David’s 50th birthday party. On May 19, in what some viewed as a message to Harry, Brooklyn, or both, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/king-charles/?swcfpc=1″>King Charles</a> made it known that he did not forget Becks’ birthday by asking if he received the gift he sent him. </p>
<p id=”par-3_30″>During their greeting at the Chelsea Flower Show, the king and David also shared a laugh, and an expert determined that their body language proved they are “really good friends.”</p>

David is an ambassador for the King’s Foundation and they have something else in common with their estranged sons. Of course, the monarch is also mindful that Harry has been feuding with David for years, and the king having appointed him as the ambassador of his foundation knowing that, is believed to be a dig at the Duke of Sussex. </p>
<p id=”par-5_33″>For those who don’t know, according to multiple reports, the reason for the Beckhams and Sussexes’ rift stems from the prince accusing Victoria of leaking stories about Meghan to the press, which infuriated David. </p>
<p id=”par-6_56″>It was also claimed in Tom Bower’s book <em>Revenge</em> that Harry asked David to fly 22 hours to Australia to attend an Invictus Games event with him but had no intention of meeting him there. According to Bower, Harry decided to keep his distance because Meghan did not want any “competition” in the media from David or Victoria.</p>

He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” He spoke about the relationship between David and the monarch, and the former soccer player receiving a knighthood. </p>
<p id=”par-8_25″>Stanton believes, given how close the men are and the respect they have for each other, David could receive a knighthood sooner rather than later.</p>
