The Jim Henson movie “Labyrinth” first came out in 1986 and charmed fans with its fantastic story, dream-like settings and quirky characters. That’s not to mention memorable performances by the now-late David Bowie and a teenage Jennifer Connelly. All these years later, the film is just as beloved and brings with it a sense of nostalgia.
That’s why you may be interested to see Connelly these days as she celebrates her 55th birthday on Friday, December 12.
See Jennifer Over the Past Year
If you haven’t seen Connelly lately, then you’ll surely be impressed by how lovely she looks. Still resembling her “Labyrinth” character with long, dark hair, she is also just as stunning as she was when she was younger.
Just check out the actress when she showed up to Vogue World: Hollywood 2025 at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on October 26. Wearing a long-sleeved green mini dress with hints of blue and pink that made it look like a Monet painting, she paired that with chic black boots. Also opting to keep her hair pulled back for the event, she looked absolutely stunning and more than just a little modern.

GettyOn May 29, Connelly stepped onto the stage to speak on the “Spotlight on Storytelling: A Conversation with the Talent and Producers Behind the Hits” panel in Culver City, California. Opting for a somewhat casual look, she shone as bright as ever as she smiled at the crowd.
GettyConnelly also appeared at the Louis Vuitton Womenswear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on March 10. Wearing a shapely red ensemble, her footwear was again a notable aspect of her outfit.

When it comes to getting older, Connelly wants to embrace certain aspects of aging.
âWe equate beauty for women with youth, and thatâs sad. Itâs a shame itâs so hard for so many of us to appreciate the beauty of an older woman and to accept it in ourselves,â the actress told More magazine (via People). âI donât want to erase my history on my face.â
âThereâs a window of time, a hump to get over, because itâs inevitable. I love that Radiohead song ‘Fake Plastic Trees’: âHe used to do surgery for girls in the â80s, but gravity always wins,ââ she added. âItâs certainly a dialogue I have with myself.”
At the same time, she noted, “And I donât judge; every woman has to make her own choice. But for me, itâs more beautiful to see the person.â
