Two years after the loss of her baby girl, Lauren Goodger has confirmed she wants to continue expanding her family through fostering.
The Only Way Is Essex star gave birth to her second child with ex-boyfriend Charles Drury, 26, following the birth of daughter Larose in 2021.
However, baby Lorena heartbreakingly passed away only moments after her birth, having been born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.
Lauren, 38, has shared how traumatic the loss was, especially as many of her friends were not there for her at the time.
She is still healing from Lorena’s death but has revealed that she has been considering adoption or fostering as she is still single after splitting with Charles.
‘I’m still young, I still can have my own baby, but I’m not with anyone and time is going on,’ Lauren told OK!. ‘I feel like it’s such a beautiful thing to be able to do and I’ve got the space’.

After the tragedy, Lauren and Charles split up and the TV star is planning her future as a single parent.
Lauren continued: ‘I’ve always known I wanted more [children], even when I lost Lorena, it never put me off the idea. If things were different with Charlie, then things would have probably been different by now, I’ve still not moved on or been with anyone else.
‘I was so traumatised by everything that I’ve just shut off and all I could be was a mum. I’m really trying my best to heal and that’s why I’ve not moved on.’

Earlier this year, Lauren went through more emotional upheaval as her daughter Larose began to struggle breathing and had to be rushed to the emergency room.
Larose was treated with steroids and a mask with pumping to ‘open her breathing’ and has recovered well.
Last month, Lauren spoke about how her recent breast reductions had impacted her romantic life and she’s just not ready to get out there again.
Lauren shared: ‘If I was to sleep with someone now, I’d have to keep a bra on. That’s probably why I’ve not been with anyone. I don’t want anyone to see me like this. I don’t feel like I’m in my own body at the minute.
‘I haven’t slept with anyone in over a year. I will again one day, but right now, I’m not in the mood.’
