Kenny Chesney continues to roll out the welcome mat for special guests in his residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas and fans couldn’t be more excited about it.

Chesney brought out Old Dominion on his May 30 show at the Sphere and treated fans to a surprise performance with the country band.

“What an incredible & unforgettable night at the @spherevegas !” Old Dominion wrote on the caption of an Instagram post highlighting the special night. “Thank you for having us @kennychesney We love you No Shoes Nation 🤠”

The band’s special appearance had many fans who were at the show commenting and gushing about the exciting surprise they received.

“I just adored how the crowd roared when Kenny announced you and thanked you for coming! You made the show over the top and we can’t wait to see you in Tahoe!!!🤙🏼🫶🏼🎸🌲🪵” one fan shared.

Kenny Chesney Brings Out Old Dominion

“We’ve had several special guests so far, in the five nights that we’ve been playing the Sphere,” Chesney told the crowd as he prepared to welcome the band, “and I don’t know–it’s probably about 10 years ago that we put this song out. And for the life of me, I can’t figure out why these guys didn’t record it. But I’m not questioning it at all, because it was a really big record for us.”

“Look who showed up!” he said. “We’re going to play a couple for you if that’s alright.”

Chesney and Old Dominion took on the stage to perform “Save It For a Rainy Day” as fans sang along and cheered. The hit song took over the venue as fans got lost in the music and soaked in the moment with Chesney.

Fans were also treated to a performance of Old Dominion’s “I Was On a Boat That Day”. The Sphere was lit up with the special performance.
