<p id=”par-1_23″>King Charles and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/psychic-sounds-alarm-sharing-cause-concern-in-king-charles-queen-camillas-relationship.html/”>his wife, Queen Camilla</a>, have traveled to Italy for a state visit where they met with Pope Leo XIV. </p>
<p id=”par-2_46″>The purpose of the historic visit is for Christian unity and care for the environment. King Charles is the head of the Church of England, and the causes involving the environment are close to his heart as they are something he’s been championing for decades. </p>
<p id=”par-3_39″>So all eyes were on the royal couple when they arrived at an airport in Rome on Oct. 22. Cameras captured the king looking a bit concerned as he said something to Camilla after they exited the plane. </p>

<p id=”par-8_25″>Moments later, the king and queen were seen shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries with those who were waiting to greet them on the tarmac. </p>
<p id=”par-9_27″>According to Hickling, the king then observed an officer or pilot’s name tag and says, “You have the same name as me, you’re also a Charles. I see.’</p>
<p id=”par-10_5″> “Absolutely,” the man replies. </p>
<p id=”par-11_22″>The monarch then adds warmly, “Marvellous journey … It’s wonderful to be able to come back to Rome, and what a warm welcome.”</p>

In return, the Dean and Canons of the College of St. George Windsor offered that Pope Leo XIV become Papal Confrater of St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, and the Pope accepted.</p>
