Comedian Judi Love recounted the wild time she stripped naked while on holiday in Japan, much to her teenage daughter’s shock.
The Loose Women panellist recently returned from a dreamy Japanese holiday but there was one spa custom she hadn’t been expecting, as she told fellow panellists Linda Roberts, Kaye Adams and Brenda Edwards.
The 44-year-old TV personality took her 19-year-old daughter to the hotel baths, known as onsen in Japan when they were met with a total shock.
She recalled: ‘As we got in people were nude but we just thought it was a changing room because it was just women. [We thought] it’s absolutely fine.
‘Then we walked into the baths and everybody was naked apart from me and my daughter. My daughter was like “I’m not getting naked, I’m not getting naked” and I was like “girl you look good so don’t worry about it”.
‘So then everyone was sitting down and showering with their naked self. And then I said “do you know what, it’s time I embraced the culture” and I got naked.’

Co-star Brenda Edwards quickly showed her surprise, exclaiming ‘did you?’ with Judi responding by continuing her tale even more enthusiastically than before.
‘Listen I swam,’ she confirmed and pretended to swim to the laughing audience.
The whole experience had the baths abuzz, according to the talk show host.
‘Some of the ladies were just sitting there looking at me. They were talking in their language, I think they were saying “oh big”. My daughter was in complete shock, she ran out but I mean if I’m honest it was really liberating,’ she said.

Judi concluded by praising the atmosphere in the baths, even though her daughter didn’t end up joining her for the unique experience.
‘I’m in a room with just women, it was safe, we had different body shapes, different sizes but it was just a really beautiful moment. The country was amazing.’
It’s not the first time Judi has wowed the audience during her time on Loose Women.

A few weeks ago the Prime Minster Rishi Sunak was grilled by Judi, leaving fans impressed.
After the former chancellor attempted to dodge Judi’s questions about the state of the country by hiding behind a new Online Safety Act, she said: ‘So what about those children who are not exposed to [the internet] because they don’t have the means for gas and electric in their homes.
‘What are we doing to help those at home who are struggling?’
Afterward, fans shared their love for Judi, with @jamesleon writing: ‘The legend that is Judy Love going in hard on Rishi Sunak and what he’s going to do about social deprivation on.’
