Major News Hits for Kidz Bop Fans

Kidz Bop.

Children (and parents) around the world will be ecstatic to learn that the famous children’s music brand and singing group Kidz Bop — known for their reimagining (and suitably censoring) of iconic pop songs to cater for a younger audience — will be appearing on the silver screen in 2026 for the first time ever.

“Kidz Bop Live: The Concert Movie” will be in theaters for a limited time — from Friday January 2 until Monday January 5. It will allow fans of the group to enjoy them cinematically for a truly unique entertainment experience.

A trailer for the movie was released on Friday, November 21.

Kidz Bop Movie Promises ‘The World’s Biggest Family Concert’

The 40-second trailer promises “The world’s biggest family concert.” It also invites its young (and older) viewers to “Get ready to dance and sing along!”

The movie will feature current Kidz Bop members Aleah, Angel, Cliff, Matty, Peter, Sadie Mae, Savvy, and Shila. They’re all set to become huge future stars if past members of the group are anything to go by.

Kidz Bop’s notable alumni comprises an impressive list. It includes Fin Argus, Becky G, Kiana Brown, Olivia Holt, Elijah Johnson, Spencer Locke, Ross Lynch, Noah Munck, and, of course, Zendaya.

Per People, Matty, whose full name is Matty Googs, has previously described what the group does. He said, “I would describe it as music sung by kids, for kids.”

Parents around the world will be flocking to purchase tickets — which are available just in time to buy as Christmas presents — and that could include a number of celebrities. The likes of Dwayne Johnson, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and all three Jonas Brothers are said to have children who are fans.

Kidz Bop began in 2001, meaning the brand has been around for close to a quarter of a century.

In total, the various iterations of the group have sold over 24 million albums in multiple languages. They also boast over 14 billion streams.

The group’s new movie was recorded earlier in 2025 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. It captured one of their annual live concerts.

It will feature the performances of popular modern tracks like “APT” by ROSÉ and “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan.

Ray Nutt, Fathom Entertainment’s Chief Executive Officer, spoke to People via a statement. He said, “Kidz Bop is more than a music act — it’s a concept that has redefined how kids experience today’s biggest hits. For more than 20 years, Kidz Bop has made chart-topping songs fun and family-friendly, and Fathom is thrilled to help bring that energy to the big screen for the very first time.”

Kidz Bop President Sasha Junk also spoke to the publication. She added, “Kidz Bop Live has been the first concert experience for millions of kids in the past decade, and now we’re bringing the same energy to the big screen! We’re thrilled to kick off our 25th birthday celebration with the release of our first-ever live concert movie in theaters.”
