Fashion comes with pain, and Mama June Shannon’s fingers might just prove it.

The “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star recently showed off her bling on Instagram, sparking immediate concern among fans. In a video posted on November 1, Shannon responded to those criticizing the cleanliness of her rings.

Shannon showed off multiple rings on at least seven of her fingers, clapping back at critics who gave her a hard time over “something as simple as me cleaning my rings.”

The “Mama June: From Not to Hot” star confirmed that she “wears them 24 hours, seven days a week” and “cleans them once a month.” Still, fans grew concerned after noticing blisters and swelling on Shannon’s fingers.

“I don’t wear these out just for a little show and put them in the jewelry box, baby. No, I wear these all the time. I go to bed with them,” the reality star added. “I don’t clean them that much because it’s hard for me to be able to put them back on, as you can see. I wear them so much that it rubs my bottom of my fingers raw. But anyway, hopefully these are clean enough for y’all.”

Shannon has always been into jewelry, as seen in her social media posts. Back in May, the “Toddlers & Tiaras” star visited New York City’s Diamond District, giving fans a glimpse of the dazzling pieces on display in several stores.

But perhaps her most special piece of jewelry is a bracelet charm made with her late daughter Anna Cardwell’s ashes after she succumbed to cancer.

“I got a piece that goes on my bracelet with her ashes on one side, her fingerprint on another side,” Shanon shared on an episode of “Mama June: Family Crisis.” “That was just my way of keeping my promise to Anna. She wanted to be carried around everywhere; she just didn’t wanna be in a box. I’ll be carrying Anna everywhere… Everywhere.”
