Lopez and Affleck first fell in love in the early 2000s and got engaged in 2002. By 2004, they broke off their engagement. However, they fell back in love in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. However, several media outlets and insiders claim that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jennifer-lopez-ben-affleck-already-signed-divorce-papers-attorney-says.html/”>Affleck and Lopez are headed for divorce</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-3_58″>A source told <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13572343/matt-damon-stark-warning-ben-affleck-jennifer-lopez.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com</a> that Damon “tried to warn” Affleck that he and Lopez might not work out. “Matt tried to warn Ben when he got back together with J.Lo that this could happen,” the insider alleged. “Matt was there to help Ben get it together after their first split, and he felt like this would happen again.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_17″>Damon also allegedly told Affleck that he needed to “focus on his work” amid the marital drama.</p>

A source told <a href=”https://okmagazine.com/p/matt-damon-hates-way-jennifer-lopez-treats-ben-affleck/#google_vignette” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>OK! Magazine</a> in December 2023 that Damon doesn’t like how Lopez treats Affleck. </p>
<p id=”par-7_41″>“Matt’s had serious reservations about Bennifer 2.0 since the beginning,” the source alleged. “He’s tried to be publicly supportive for Ben’s sake, but the fact is he hates the way J.Lo treats his buddy and can no longer hold his tongue!”</p>

Damon swore himself to secrecy, stating, “There’s not enough liquor in the world for you to get me to say something about” Lopez and Affleck’s relationship.</p>
