Matt Rife is currently on his latest comedy tour, aptly called the “Stay Golden Tour.” This is his most significant endeavor to date in regards to hitting the road as a comedian. Matt took to Instagram to highlight that he had sold out two dates at the iconic Madison Square Garden. He also shared that he’s the youngest comedian to do it.Â
Matt Rife said in the post, “TWO SOLD OUT SHOWS at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN! New York City, I canât even begin to thank you enough for this dream come true. It doesnât really get much bigger than this for a comedian, so to accomplish this feat as the youngest comedian to ever do it feels so surreal, and Iâm so beyond thankful!”
He then said, “Iâve literally performed at shows in the city for 2 peopleâ¦so this is truly amazing!” Matt Rife also has a special guest at the show, as singer Jesse McCartney performed at one of the dates. Notably, Jesse has a new single out, titled “Trip.”
Matt continued, “A HUGE THANK YOU to the one and only @jessemccartney for putting on an insane surprise performance on Night 1! One of the coolest, nicest, most talented people Iâve ever met in my career.”
He added, “Wow⦠we really did it. I hope I get to do it for the rest of my life.”
He Has Just Been Cast In a New Netflix Show
Matt Rife’s comedy tour is making waves in the entertainment industry, but he has also been cast in a new series. The show, “The Altruists,” is about FTX, a well-known cryptocurrency exchange that collapsed in 2022.Â
Matt shared the news on Instagram, saying, “Veerrryy excited to announce this new project Iâm a part of @netflix! Stay tuned for when it comes out! #netflix #thealtruists #sambankmanfried #crypto #ftx.” According to Variety, the show will also feature Eugene Young, Gary Wang, Madison Hu, and several other notable actors.Â
