Busted star Matt Willis celebrated his 16th wedding anniversary with presenter Emma Willis with a wild gesture – tattooing her onto his leg.
The couple – set to co-host the UK version of the Netflix series Love is Blind this summer – first met in 2004 and started dating a year later. They tied the knot in July 2008 and share three children Isabelle, 14, Ace, 11 and Trixie, seven.
In a heartfelt Instagram post marking the special occasion, the 41-year-old singer wrote: ‘I love you more than ever. 16 years and it keeps getting better. Thanks @tomftattoo for your amazing work and fitting me in just in time for today.’
The tattoo spans his entire calf with a black ink background. It includes most of Emma’s body with her face and skin shaded in grey and wearing a black dress.
Although it is a thoughtful gift, fans have flocked to the comments to share their shock, saying that the tattoo doesn’t actually look like the Big Brother host, 48.
‘Happy anniversary, nice tattoo although it looks more like Miley Cyrus! Guessing Emma is a big fan of hers!’ @collyer.andrew commented.

‘Lovely idea but doesn’t look anything like her?’ @ambyrmedfrod echoed.
‘Is that meant to be Emma?’ @theneurodiverse family added.
‘I mean.. it’s a nice gesture. It looks nothing like Emma though,’ @kimmer_xx shared.
‘It’s a lovely gesture and a great tattoo, I think perhaps the face needed a shading in comparison to the body and perhaps why people are saying its not a likeness,’ @charlann211 posed.
Other people in the comments even offered other celebrities the tattoo resembled, such as Eva Mendes and Angelina Jolie.
Although there was some criticism, other fans leaped to his defence.

‘How is anyone saying this doesn’t look like her lol, looks just like her! Happy Anniversary!’ @crhodes270987 added.
‘The tattoo is lovely and what a way to celebrate their anniversary and their love. Happy Anniversary Matt & Emma. And everybody else if you cant say anything nice then shush,’ @itsjadecorby slammed.
Matt and Emma will now host Love Is Blind UK and have shared their excitement.
‘I’m so excited to be presenting the U.K. version of Love Is Blind with Emma. We love the show!” the 00s music icon said in a statement at the time.

In May last year, Matt opened up about his past addiction to drugs in a powerful BBC Documentary, Fighting Addiction.
The couple got candid about how the addiction has affected their lives together. Emma admitted that she used to keep a diary of what Matt consumed, which at one point included up to six grams of coke a day.
‘I remember I used to drive around looking for him and go in all the local pubs looking for him but he went in the ones I didn’t know about,’ she tearfully admitted during the documentary.
The music artist has now been sober for five years.
