Is Maura Higgins still heading into the Jungle? (Picture: ITV)
Fans of Maura Higgins are worried she might not be heading into the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp after all.
The influencer, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2019, is rumoured to be a late arrival this series, along with Reverend Richard Coles.
However, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returning to host the reality show in just two days, Maura has confused fans with her whereabouts.
Taking to her Instagram Story yesterday, the brunette beauty, 33, teased her millions of followers with a photo of an aeroplane, hinting at the fact that she could be travelling Down Under, writing: ‘Where to next?,’ and leaving a box for fans to share their predictions.
Hours later, though, she revealed that she was actually in Las Vegas.
The Irish TV personality joins fellow beauty influencers, including Stacey Solomon, for a trip of a lifetime with retailer SpaceNK.

Offering a glimpse inside the glamorous getaway, Maura posted snaps of her luxurious hotel suite before dressing up for the evening’s celebrations.
In a posey mirror selfie, the former Dancing On Ice contestant looked every inch the model in a black minidress with oversized ruffled sleeves.
She showcased her long, bare legs and added height with black heels, carrying her nightly essentials in a clutch bag.
The duration of Maura’s Vegas trip is currently unknown, and we’re also yet to receive confirmation of when exactly she’s expected to enter I’m A Celeb, but it seems she’s willing to risk jet lag!
Meanwhile, back on British soil, her rumoured boyfriend Pete Wicks is preparing to take to the dancefloor for Strictly Come Dancing’s Blackpool special as they spend weeks apart.
The Towie alum, 36, and Love Islander were first romantically linked in August after meeting several years ago, but have been spotted looking very cosy in recent weeks on a string of date nights.
Neither has confirmed they are an item, but Maura has spoken about their connections, recently telling Married At First Sight expert Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast that they get on ‘very well’.

‘He’s an amazing person,’ she said.
‘We’re friends,’ she insisted. ‘We met very soon after me coming off the show, very soon, and we just instantly clicked.
‘Our humour is very the same, it’s that sick, dark humour, very abusive, we abuse each other, very nasty, hilarious.
‘Like we just get on very, very well.
‘I adore him, he’s amazing.’
Maura’s I’m A Celeb appearance is believed to come after Tommy Fury dropped out at the last minute.
According to The Sun, Tommy – who also appeared on Love Island 2019 – opted for the more lucrative offer of a boxing rematch against KSI over Bushtucker Trials with Ant and Dec.

An insider said: ‘With Tommy Fury pulling out, it gave show bosses the opportunity to look at other Love Island stars, and Maura stood out as the perfect candidate.
‘She’ll bring a bit of glamour to the jungle and make a brilliant campmate because she’s got a great sense of humour and is bound to get on with everyone.’
The likes of Coleen Rooney, GK Barry, Tulisa, Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, and Alan Halsall are already in Australia and ready to enter camp.
Several campmates have met and undergone their first challenges, including a drinking trial featuring bull’s penis with fish eyes and a garnish of vomit fruit – yuck!
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2024 begins on Sunday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
