Well, that was fast!
Less than one hour into the launch of Meghan Markle‘s lifestyle brand “As Ever” April 2, the eight product inaugural collection SOLD OUT! The Duchess offered up raspberry spread in “keepsake packaging” for $14, a tin of “flower sprinkles” for $15 and a tin of herbal hibiscus tea for $12. A limited edition jar of wildflower honey with honeycomb for $28 sold out in less than five minutes once the “As Ever” website went live. Every single one of the eight initial products offered on the website now bears a “sold out” stamp.
And you can bet the Duchess of Sussex is already celebrating. In an Instagram post, Meghan writes, “Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full! We sold out in less than one hour and I canât thank you enoughâ¦for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing. Itâs just the start @aseverofficial ð Here we go!”
Meghan Markle Promises More ‘As Ever’ Products to Come
The “As Ever” website promises “more coming soon” without specifics.
In an earlier Instagram post, Meghan wrote that there were âlimited quantities for each seasonal drop.â It is currently unknown if the company plans on restocking the same products that were in “As Everâs” debut collection.
“As Ever” is the rebrand of Meghan’s previously named lifestyle brand “American Riviera.” In a February Instagram post, the Duchess explained why she made the move to rename the brand. In the video, she says, âLast year, I had thought, âAmerican Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.â Itâs my neighborhood; itâs a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area,. Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. which was huge. So I thought about it, and Iâve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and itâs called As Ever.â
Meghan goes on to say, âAs Ever essentially means as itâs always been. And if youâve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know Iâve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening. This is what I do. And I havenât been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years. But now I can. So as things are starting to trickle out there, I wanted you to hear it from me first.â
âOf course, there will be fruit preserves; I think weâre all clear at this point that jam is my jam. But there are so many more products that IÂ I just love. And now itâs time to share them with you. So I just canât wait for you to see it.”
The Duchess of Sussex Will Debut New Podcast April 8
Meghan Markle doesn’t have much time to sit around reflecting on “As Ever’s” success.
In fact, while “As Ever” maybe be sold out of tea, Markle will be spilling some soon nevertheless.
The Duchess will launch a new podcast titled âConfessions of a Female Founderâ April 8.
In a post on Instagram, Markle wrote, âIâve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. Theyâre opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business. As ever, it has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiringâ¦and fun! (Because whatâs the point if we canât have some fun on this wild adventure?)â
After the first episode of the podcast debuts April 8, seven more episodes will follow once a week after that.
