<p id=”par-1_70″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan Markle</a>‘s new lifestyle show has finally debuted on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/netflix/?swcfpc=1″>Netflix</a> and it’s now being dissected by commentators and experts on both sides of the pond. So far, the overwhelming <a href=”https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/with_love_meghan/s01/reviews?type=user”>majority of reviews</a> haven’t been positive. Of course, that’s not good news for the duchess as she won’t appreciate some of the harsh comments. But according to royal experts, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/”>Prince Harry’s wife</a> should have known how “uninspiring” her series is. </p>

<p id=”par-3_47″>Longtime journalist Robert Jobson has written several books about members of the royal family and recently shared his thoughts about the former working royal’s new show in which Meghan “invites friends and famous guests to a beautiful California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_57″> On <a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/33618407/meghan-hate-tv-show-supermarket/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Sun</a>’s<em> <a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/topic/royal-exclusive/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Royal Exclusive</a></em> Jobson said of Meghan’s show: “I mean, it’s just like an advert for Waitrose (supermarket) or something. It doesn’t do anything for me. It seems that everyone wants her to fail, but it would actually be quite a good story if it was a success. But I’m not overly inspired by it. It’s just a little dull.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_43″>The royal author then noted that the Sussexes have only had “big numbers” with their “royal-bashing books and royal-bashing documentaries.” However now, “they’re trying to do something, I suppose, that they tell us is all positive, and it just doesn’t seem particularly inspiring to me.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_35″>Some commentators are claiming that another reason the show isn’t too inspiring is because a lot of Meghan’s ideas are just things that have been posted on Pinterest and Instagram hundreds of times before. </p>
<p id=”par-7_34″><em>To Di For Daily</em> podcast host Kinsey Schofield pointed out just that on an episode of <em>Talk TV</em>, when she brought up how many of the former <em>Suits</em> star’s “creations” were so unoriginal.</p>
<p id=”par-8_50″>She said: “You know I could spend an hour on Pinterest and do all of this if not more. This is just very vanilla. It’s very bland, it’s very safe, and I just don’t understand … I think what the objective is to ultimately change the public perception about her.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_36″>But no matter what the viewing audience or any of the critics think, it’s all about the numbers for Netflix and the streaming platform doesn’t care if you “hate-watch” just as long as you watch. </p>
<p id=”par-10_22″>Jobson added: “If the numbers are low, really low, it’s going to create that negative publicity that she [Meghan] probably doesn’t want.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_48″>Hello Magazine’s royal editor Emily Nash then countered: “Let’s not forget, she had a huge following for<em> The TIG</em>. Her Instagram account that did very well for her. And if people who followed her for that are still invested now, then there’s potentially quite a big audience for it still.”</p>
