<p id=”par-1_65″>In early 2024, Mel B — also known as Melanie Brown or Scary Spice — hinted that the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/music/”>Spice Girls</a> had plans for some <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/why-did-the-spice-girls-break-up.html/”>sort of reunion</a>. This thrilled fans, but the rest of the group was not as happy with her. Brown revealed that her excitement about a reunion has made the others boot her from their group chat on more than one occasion.</p>

<p id=”par-2_37″>In an April appearance on the show <em>This Morning</em>, host Alison Hammond said she heard Brown “got kicked out of the WhatsApp group” for the former members of the Spice Girls. Brown confirmed that this was true.</p>
<p id=”par-3_32″>“Ah, yeah, that always happens to me,” Brown said, per <a target=”_blank” href=”https://ew.com/mel-b-keeps-getting-kicked-out-of-spice-girls-group-chat-8627949″ rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Entertainment Weekly</a>. “Yeah. Because I say things. I get so excited when it comes to Spice Girls, because it is 30 years!”</p>

<p id=”par-4_35″>She added that she shouldn’t say anything about a potential reunion, lest she irritate the other women and get kicked out of the group chat again. Still, she said she couldn’t help but feel excited.</p>
<p id=”par-5_49″>“We’ve got a lot to celebrate: The fact that we’re all still healthy, and living life, and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/spice-girls-doing-now-2022.html/”>all talking still</a>,” she said, later adding, “You know, the certain things that we’ve done together, you can’t really explain it because it happened to us five, and it was just extraordinary.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_20″>Just this year, Brown excitedly confirmed that the Spice Girls were “definitely” doing something to celebrate their 30th anniversary. </p>
<p id=”par-7_34″>“We are definitely doing something,” she said on <em>Loose Women</em>, per <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.marieclaire.com/celebrity/spice-girl-reunion-tour-canceled-geri-mel-b-drama/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Marie Claire</a>. “I’m probably going to get told off [for revealing that], but I’ve said it. There you go. I’m in trouble now.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_29″>A few months later, however, it seems that the group will no longer go forward with their reunion. This is reportedly because of drama between Brown and Geri Halliwell. </p>
<p id=”par-9_43″>“Geri has had enough to deal with after all the drama with her husband’s relationship with his assistant,” a source revealed. “[I]t has been a tough enough time — and she’s just lost patience with Mel [B] and her little digs and jibes.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_10″>For now, Halliwell has <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/are-mel-b-and-geri-halliwell-still-friends.html/”>no intention of working</a> with Brown.</p>
<p id=”par-11_46″>“She’s walked away and without Geri it’s really not going to happen,” the source said. “[I]n the past she’s been a driving force in the group, but she doesn’t want to deal with Mel at all at the moment let alone share a stage with her.”</p>

As she plans her wedding to fiancé Rory McPhee, Brown revealed that Beckham designed her wedding dress. </p>
