Michael J. Fox and wife Tracy Pollan welcomed a new daughter into their family as their eldest son, Sam Fox, quietly married his longtime girlfriend last month.
Michael J Fox’s Son Gets Married
While few details are known of the couple’s intimate wedding, Sam and his new wife, Molly Milstein, shared a series of photos from their big day on Wednesday, November 5.
“A month before,” they captioned the post, adding a series of emojis, including a bride, a groom, an orange heart, a shushing emoji, a fox, and a handshake.
The intimate engagement appeared to be held inside a New York City apartment. The bride wore a white paisley-print mini skirt with matching suit jacket, while the groom donned a classic black suit.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds posed for photos on a park bench surrounded by everyday New Yorkers.
Pollan, who also shares daughters Schuyler Frances, Esmé Annabelle, and Aquinnah Kathleen with the “Back to the Future” star, commented three red hearts on her son’s post.
Little is known about the couple, who tend to keep their relationship as private as possible, but Molly first appeared on Sam’s Instagram profile back in July 2020 when they roadtripped to Massachusetts.
Michael J Fox’s Son Is Following in His Footsteps
Sam, 36, has followed in his father’s footsteps as he also works in the entertainment industry.
Sam has produced a variety of projects, including Ben Barnes’ 11:11 music video and his dad’s documentary, “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie.”
Fox — who has been battling Parkinson’s Disease since 1991 — often gushes about his children.
“Happy Birthday Samâ¦No better friend, brother, or son on the planet. Love you so much,” he captioned a birthday tribute to his son via Instagram in May 2023.
Sam often returns the praise with Instagram tributes of his own for the “Family Ties” actor’s birthdays, Father’s Day, or other accomplishments.
“Bit of a cool day yesterday. Huge congratulations to you Pops, hell of an accomplishment,” he captioned a series of photos in January from Fox’s Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony.
According to Fox, his battle with Parkinson’s has shaped his children into the young adults they are.
“If I’m reaching for something, they’ll just do it and carry on,” he told Good Housekeeping in 2009, according to People. “[They have learned] empathy, resilience, and also sorting out what’s important from what’s not â things like vanity.”
